We were just wondering...
1. Feathered accoutrements are one thing. But what's up with Julianne Moore carrying an entire bird (albeit one by Christian Lacroix) on her shoulders?
2. Janet Jackson illustrates what happens when an angel flies into a tub of cotton candy. Was Alexander McQueen on a sugar high when he created this winged number?
3. Is that Victoria Beckham—or a footless Posh robot replica in dVb jeans?

How do I keep up a flattering hair color year-round when my complexion tends to be cooler in fall and winter and warmer in spring and summer?
—Tracie, Winchester, Virginia
How’s this for logic: Cool tones in summer, warm tones in winter. I know. Go figure. But the idea actually makes sense when you hear it from a top celebrity colorist. Take Rona O’Connor, who colors, among others, Blake Lively and Deborah Messing.

But let's not forget about Sara Ramirez, whose red carpet confidence is also inspiring women to embrace their sensuous shape. Whether it's enhancing an hourglass figure with a leather sash or using asymmetrical satin to showcase enviable curves, the model and the actress remind us that luscious skin is in.

Renew claims its Eyelash Revitalizer strengthens, lengthens and conditions lashes. See if the serum got our Style staffers into flirt mode.
"Absolutely loved it! I saw a major increase in the length and amount of lashes. It's a bit pricey, but it's worth the results."

Leave it to Paris Hilton to jump on a trend before it has left the station. Surprisingly, the heiress successfully pulled off an outrageous hat (gasp!) perhaps better than Sarah Jessica Parker. The matchy-matchy handbag and Marc Jacobs dress even works for us—after all, she's in Victoria "Miss Monochromatic" Beckham's home country. Lose that silly stance Paris, and we might just give you a Shout-Out.

I am a 51-year-old grandmother who is looking for a new job. Is a suit still the correct thing for an interview?
—Margaret, Marilla, New York
No. A smart, chic suit is the correct thing for an interview. But instead of basic black, try navy. "It's a great, cyclical color," says Corinne Phipps, lead stylist at the Bay Area image consultancy Urban Darling.
