I have dark purple carpet in my bedroom. I don't plan on replacing it, but I want to update the space. What color scheme can I use to play down the carpet?

The dark purple carpet sounds quite regal. If I were you, I'd use a light to medium gray to neutralize the floor and create a beautiful color palette.

2. Thom, i have a purple carpet, and yellowish/white walls, should i color them, or what should i do? What bed linens should i use??? I have changed, it twice, and nothing (i rented the house like that)

3. hi thom, i just moved into a really small apartment...my living room (12 x 10 ft * has a lilac rug and purple curtains and the walls are cream (i could change the wall colour though..if you can help pick a better one)..... what colour of sofa and throw pillows can i have? And can i have a two seater sofa made of either leather * suede plus a single seater cane chair?...i'm really into having natural potted plants in the house........please help me

4. I would love to have someone get some organization in my apartment. I keep up with normal cleaning but I don't have the design style or organization to ge it done. Is there some tips you (Neice) can give me to keep my house tidy and imperational to a single mother. I love the show and love what you can do for others. I don't have alot of clutter. I just know how to hide it well. Were you ever thinging of doing a show based on orgainizing a house, apt, to get me where I need to be in a minimal sense. Can you help me? Thanks...
