Christian Louboutin Designs Sparkly Torture Device for Charity

Lady Gaga, you may have just met your match. We don't even know if the insane footwear-loving pop icon herself could totter around in these 8-inch ballet shoes.
The mastermind behind the Swarovski-encrusted satin heels was none other than red-soled shoe genius, Christian Louboutin. The designer graciously created the gravity-defying wonder to be auctioned off at the English National Ballet's Summer Party in London.
While we love the idea of fashion for a charitable cause, when we look at these, all we can picture is sprained ankles and painful blisters. Can't a girl get a platform?

2. As far as shoes go, Mr Louboutin is quite the artisan when it comes to design. Never one to disappoint, his creations are always lovingly constructed and defiantly different. As soon as I laid my eyes on this pair, it was love at first sight. 2011louboutinsale.com
