Mai are we excited for Fashion Week! The Style Network's own Jeannie Mai is all over the shows in Manhattan (not that she's terrible upset about this, natch), and her first stop was the BCBGMAXAZRIA fall 2012 show.
The How Do I Look? host rubbed elbows with Food Network chef Giada DeLaurentiis and Maria Menounos in the front row, where they got up close and personal with one of the biggest trends for fall—colorblocking!

While rich, warm tones and beiges were heavily featured throughout the collection, pops of electric blue, chartreuse and orange brightened up many of the looks. This may have been the first big show at Lincoln Center, but it already hit on some of the major predicted trends like fur accents and dropped hemlines. Flowing calf-length dresses, colorful patchwork and jumpsuits were sophisicated but fun spins for fall.
Sleek, low ponies, winged eyeliner and nude nails on the models nicely complemented the posh, lucious looks.

1. Who was that tall gorge blond working with you! Get her in front of the camera instead of behind it! Bet you would make a great team. Anyway think your show is great and can't wait to see more. Look forward to seeing and hearing more.
