Jouer Cosmetics says users can customize its line, thanks to innovative packaging that interlocks. You just slide the pieces together for the perfect palette. Here's our take.
Pros: The interlocking feature kept the makeup organized.
Cons: The pieces were very hard to open. I broke a nail trying to get into an eye shadow!
—Yesenia Y., Production
Pros: It was great for carrying my makeup in my purse because it kept everything together. Plus, the makeup was natural, classy and long-lasting.
Cons: The only items I actually like to bring with me are lip gloss and concealer. The concealer doesn't interlock, which made the casing for the lip gloss useless.
—Lauren S., Development
Pros: The customizable options added some fun to the application process. Nothing got lost! Plus, the colors looked great and blended well.
Cons: The generic black cases made the actual contents a mystery. It was also difficult and frustrating to connect them quickly.

Bottom Line: The puzzle of a makeup line is a great idea—in theory! Although the makeup itself was above average, connecting and opening the pieces turned out to be quite the enigmatic process.
