Katharine McPhee Flirts With Color—We Fall in Love!

After running into singer/actress Katharine McPhee at last night's NYX Cosmetics Decade+1 Celebration, we were convinced that the girl deserved a Style Shout-Out.

For one thing, she looked really cute in her floral Catherine Malandrino dress. On top of that, she had to have been the nicest celebrity we've ever met! That's what we love: beauty inside and out.

She even chatted with us about her outfit choice: "I love it because it's very current and girlie," she explained. "The big shoulders are in, but this is a spring take on that."

Katharine also admitted that she was trying to break a bad black habit. "I had my closet coordinated by color and my friend came over the other day and she was like, 'Wow! You have a lot of black!' So I made sure that I didn't wear any black tonight—my YSL heels are brown!
