The Lady Is a Vamp

Our first thought upon seeing the new Scarlett Johansson and Natalie Portman W cover pegged to their new movie, The Other Boleyn Girl, was: "What a vamp!" We also couldn't help but notice the stars' uncanny resemblance to the Olsen twins at Paris Fashion Week last year. "The vamp look represents strength and confidence," explains Stila celebrity makeup artist Sarah Lucero. "This is definitely a trend that is not going away anytime soon."
Lucero suggests achieving the look with dark nails, as was seen all over the runway for Spring 2008, strong eyes—or a dark stained lip paired with dewy skin. "The key is to choose one 'focus feature' and maximize it," she adds.
