Jessica Szohr's Gossip Girl character, Vanessa, is known for her high-end boho-chic pieces. But off the set, she's a real-life recessionista.
"I'm a vintage shopper, mostly, and I like garage sales and going to Target," the actress dished to mystyle. "I was never into fashion. I'm all about simple and comfy."
For the ultimate in comfortable fashion, Jessica looks to menswear. Some of her favorite pieces include an undershirt from the boy's section at Target and boyfriend jeans. "I used to always wear my boyfriend's jeans. I don't like things that are fitted. It's so funny that it's a popular thing right now," she says.
Her advice to fans? "I know this is going to sound lame, but don't be trendy just to be trendy. If you like a certain thing, just do it! I think when things are too trendy, you lose that something special."
