mystyle Q&A: Kate Flannery

The Office star gave us the scoop on her personal style at the DPA pre-Emmys suite, where she received goodies from SwedArt, Delano activewear and RGK D'Zines.

WHAT SHE'S STYLIN': I'm wearing Suzi Chin. I'm going to the BAFTA/LA TV Tea Party after this, so I saw this floral number and thought it would make a good tea dress.

DRESSING FOR THE EMMYS: I will wear Tadashi Shoji to the Emmy Awards. It's an inky purple. It's strapless with a straight bodice and an A-line cut from the waist down. I thought it was really flattering. It's probably one of the most comfortable Emmys dresses that I've ever worn!

STYLE CRUSH: Sometimes, I'm so envious of Sarah Jessica Parker. The two of us couldn't be more different physically, but I love her sense of style. As she gets older, she gets more comfortable with her sense of fashion.

BEWARE OF RED POUT: I have to be super careful with red lipstick because it sometimes makes me look like I have a 55-year-old mouth with a 45-year-old face! I try to line it as much as I can. There are a few matte lipsticks from MAC that I use as a base so that it doesn't feather.

FANTASY COLLECTION: I'd design for curvy women. Stylish and comfortable. Stuff that shows off your waist. Just because you're curvy, you can still have a good line.
