Actress Sanaa Lathan, the star of Something New and The Family That Preys, is fast becoming the one to watch on the red carpet. But that didn't happen overnight.
"I grew up being a tomboy," the fashionista admits to mystyle. "I was the girl who did her errands in sweats and a baseball cap. That's what I really like."
Today, the star makes it her business to look camera ready. "In an era where there are always photographers around, I definitely take a little more time when deciding on what to wear because I've been caught out there," explains Sanaa, who describes her current style as "ladylike."
Her fashion faves? "I'm into anything that's not black. I love all colors," she raves. "I'm also feeling the little peep-toe booties. They're very modern. You get to see the toes!"
