As a new season of Big Rich Texas begins, one mother-daughter duo weighs in on the first episode.
PAM: Hi, fans!
Let me begin by saying I KNEW IT and I TOLD YOU SO! Now let's get on with the blog...
When Connie and Whitney found out the truth about Leslie and Tyler, I was relieved, to say the least. I always have a gut feeling about people, and my gut has never been wrong. Always listen to your inner voice, people.
With the recon news from Connie and after finding out about the Asian Leslie Birkland, I was sure Leslie would leave Texas since she could no longer "fool" us. Can you believe she had the cojones to stay and try to play out her big fat lie? Some people have a lot of nerve. And I don't mean that in a good way. Bonnie finally listened and kicked Leslie to the curb at the pheasant hunt; I sure hope that lasts. I cannot be sure about what is going to happen with those two's friendship, as Bonnie is not the sharpest tool in the shed.
Hannah and I feel bad for Kalyn since Leslie is treating her like a pageant mule. I hope Kalyn wises up and jumps off that train fast!
HANNAH: I cant see why Kalyn gives Leslie so much credit—is she desperate??
When I sat my parents down to ask their blessing about leaving Mizzou, I was so afraid they would say no. I really hoped to transfer and move to sunny, beautiful California. If I can sell Mom and Dad on the idea, I am going to be moving there. I was so nervous when I asked them that I felt ill about it. Thank goodness they agreed on a trial period. I have to prove myself or move back home, and moving back to Ft. Martin is not something I am interested in doing. Love you, Mom and Dad, but once you fly the coop it's hard to come back to the nest.

1. Wow * I don't think we would ever want Pam at our country club. We have a lot more class then making a scene so publicly and screaming and cursing at a public function. Where is the etiquette? Secondly, we would never at this day and age state * Are we shooting pheasants or peasants." Are you stating it's okay to shoot poor people? What a great example to set for young women. Your pathetic! You make fun of women for getting plastic surgery when it's beyond obvious that you have had some major work done yourself! I feel for your children. I couldn't imagine being your age and acting like the trash you are. You are sooo jealous of the other women, which is why you belittle everything they do. 6. For anyone who hasn't figured this out, this is not a reality show and these "ladies" certainly do not represent Dallas nor are they considered anywhere near the elite of Dallas society. The "country club" to which they claim to belong is an old, run-down golf club in Ft. Worth and none of these women are members, nor are they members of any country club in Dallas, which is the reason they had to go to a trashy golf club in Ft. Worth that would actually let them film there. Connie is not the "social director"/employee because she is not a member and that position did not exist until the show created it for her. If any of these women behaved at an actual country club or at a true social event in the manner in which they behave on the show, they would be removed immediately and everyone would be humiliated for them, much as they are now by their appearance on this ridiculous show which has made a mockery of Dallas and it's society. True Dallas ladies wouldn't be caught dead on this mess.

7. As for Pam Martin, you should be ashamed of behaving in such a manner * encouraging your daughter to do the same. Condescension, "calling people out", * making people feel beneath you are not admirable traits. I've always had a gut feeling about people, too. My gut feeling about you is that you are not happy with where you are * while attempting to social climb in Dallas society, you feel the need to demean others in order to make yourself feel better. I guess that's why someone had to make veiled threats to pull their sponsorship at a non-profit event so you could replace an already scheduled "celebrity". That's too bad; a lot of money that could have been raised for people who really needed it was lost due to your replacement. Not even the person who pulled strings to get you in supported you. But, hey, as long as you got a second in the spotlight, who cares about those less fortunate? So, it's time to go practice what your preach. Shut your mouth, straighten up, * try to act nice.

9. Good for Pam standing her ground about Leslie. She was right all along. What is the deal with Leslie moving into a 13,000 square foot mansion and now is living in a highrise in uptown that is only a little bigger than a college dorm room? Really? What I think is hilarious is the fact that Leslie's apartment was furnished by Aaron's Sales and Lease! Obviously, the show put her up in that apartment and furnished it, although they don't have very good taste or much of a budget. If Leslie was as wealthy as she claimed, she wouldn't have a rent to own company furnish her home! The show is definitely staged.

11. I LOVE YOU PAM AND HANNAH!!!! I love this show so much and was laughing my *** off when Leslie was crying after Bonnie told her off. She is such a fake. I hope that Bonnie stays away from Leslie because you are right Pam, Leslie will bite Bonnie in the *** if she doesnt watch out. I have to admit when i saw the first season I was on Leslie's side, but i realize now that that was a HUGE mistake, Pam, you were right all along and anyone who didnt believe you, including me, was terribly wrong, and all those people who are still on Leslie's side I have a message for you: GET YOUR HEADS OUT OF YOUR ***ESS!!!! 12. I would just like to say that most of these comments are about Pam having lack of class, well, all I have to say is where have you been??? I love Pam I think she is a person that shoots it straight, calls it like it is, and I respect that you always know where you stand with Pam period. I say Kudos to you Pam for the whole Recon mission everybody should investigate a person who comes out of nowhere and can't prove where her money comes from and always and I mean always talks about MONEY!! 13. My comment has nothing to do with Leslie. I am in no way "Team Leslie". I think Pam was completely out of control at that party and it doesn't matter who she was talking to or about. That was just insane and not attractive. I would think she would be more in control of herself and handle her business on a whole other level.

15. I just think all the women do NOT represent women in general well! Very class-less behavior at the club party. I thought the manager should have suspended Pam for her rude and ridiculous outburst...he must have been appalled! I love to watch Pam for the entertainment, but she is just mean! Reminds me of high school mean girls...grow up Pam! Connie is insecure and also not very nice. Leslie is just plain off her rocker...Mean, class-less women at their best, I guess! 23. I actually watched the show for the first time today and wanted to see the website to witness first hand how caddy these women really are. Could you imagine if any of them had half of a brain and actually wanted to do good with their money? It seems their children do have a fighting chance, but only if they see how much bigger it is outside of their small, misguided worlds. I don't come from money or married into it(guessing that is what all of these women did), but my life has importance and perspective. I know they are a terrible example of what and who people are and I hope others like me will never watch this terrible show again. The best thing that can happen is this show will be taken off air for lack of viewing and all reality tv thereafter will be terminated! It's absolutely rotting our brains, clearly! These ladies should read a book or something.

You could tell in the last episode when Bonnie found out about Tyler being set up to date Whitney that she really had been behind it all. When Bonnie called her out the look on her face said it all. Her mind was probably racing trying to pick a lie that would clear her name. Her getting defensive * trying to talk down about you just made her look worse. People need to learn how to read others better before scam artists suck them dry. I'm sure a country club manager /owner (the little fat guy) would just sit around doing nothing during the outbursts these women had. It was so obviously staged (with all the extras in the back round) these cable stations keep cranking them out. If what's her name is a pageant contestant, then it must be for the "B" pageants cause she is short, chunky, lacking in personality, and grace. Yup fully staged. Not watching any more of these so called episodes.

46. Just read that the country club is a run down golf club in Fort Worth and the show arranged to have it which would mean none of the cast belongs! Maybe these women don't own thier hed or businesses etc! That being said, I have thoroughly enjoyed this show. It is one of very few reality shows I have enjoyed. Pam is awesome! Leslie is a fake and I had a good laugh watching Pam put her in her place. Why pretend you are a millionare when you aren't? Pam is doing a great job of getting you all riled up. I wish the show would find a way to unite Bonnie and Pam. I love them both! If I were grading on a curve, Pam would get an A as a mother compared to the rest on the show. I love Bonnie and Whitney too. Those two are thoroughly entertaining. Who is watching trash tv to learn life leasson? Who is stupid enough to allow their young children to watch it? RELAX and enjoy the show!
