Hollywood’s latest beauty secret is hair gloss, a semi-permanent treatment that seals the hair cuticle for four to six weeks.

“Glosses just add incredible shine,” says celebrity hairstylist Mark Slicker, owner of the Mark Slicker Salon in Westwood, California. “They temporarily seal the hair, which gives you the same effect as silicone products.”

Now we can all be--in the immortal words of REM--“Shiny Happy People.”
