A sexy outfit, killer shoes and beautiful tresses will do nothing for you if you don't have healthy, glowing skin! With that in mind, skin care line Gerda Spillmann promises to deliver a radiant complexion in no time with its Swiss Apple Facial Scrub.
The scrub is packed with apple amino acids, citric acid and bamboo stem extracts—a combo designed to gently exfoliate your skin and remove dead skin cells. (And it has a delicious apple aroma, too!)
Gerda Spillmann swears the scrub is safe for even the most sensitive skin because the line replaces abrasives with bamboo powder, which is supposedly gentler. The scrub also moisturizes, "revealing a youthful glow without the irritation."
The Swiss Apple Facial Scrub sure sounds like a luscious treat, but will it really give us that gorgeous glow? We asked our Style staffers to find out!
"I found the Swiss Apple Face Scrub very cleansing. It left my skin smooth, fresh and rejuvenated. While it didn't always remove all my makeup, it was very good at helping me wake up in the morning. The sweet apple scent was just enough to liven my senses and get me going. The scrub is also very gentle, so it was great for everyday use. After using it, my skin was always soft and moisturized. I wouldn't use it to fight breakouts, but the Swiss Apple Facial Scrub is great for cleansing the skin and feeling refreshed."

"When I applied the scrub, the gel felt very rough, but after washing it off, my face felt softer than it ever has! I found it best to use it in the mornings because it rejuvenates your face beautifully. I never thought the scrub could do such wonders for a face filled with pores. My face had a healthy glow after using the scrub. My only complaint is that the healthy glow and soft skin withers away quickly; with the instant result comes the instant wear-off. Nonetheless, I used the scrub for five consecutive mornings and was pleased."

"The fresh scent of the Swiss Apple Facial Scrub sure did wake me up in the morning—and believe me, that's not an easy task. I noticed the fruity aroma every time I used it. I thought I needed an abrasive exfoliant to make my face this soft. Surprisingly, the gentle scrub left my skin clean and smooth. I might not need my great grandma's harsh cleansing concoction anymore. Overall, I was impressed with the scrub. I guess you can say, 'An apple scrub a day keeps the dead skin away!' "

1. Please get Kimora off the air!!! It's the dumbing down of America and I expect a bit more from the Style Network. She's the 2007 answer to Anna Nicole (rest her soul). She's horrid and the entire country's laughing at her! PLEASE put on some watchable programming with someone who's not so bloody full of herself and thinks she's L. Helmsley. Thank you.

2. I can't tell you how much I dislike the Kimora show. It is embarassing to think that our country would actually look up to someone who is so self absorbing, rude, spoiled and downright mean to the people who work for her. The show is decadent, dumb and disgraceful. Where are the good and helpful shows where your stars actually help people. Such as, Finola, Isaac, Neecy, and the other helpful shows like style her famous, dress my nest, and there are more that are really very uplifting.
