Which Products Will Give My Hair Bounce?

My hair is really weak and thin. Any shampoos I can use?

Yes, there are. I've had stupendous luck in tests of a shampoo and conditioner by the name of Ookisa; it's ridiculously expensive—almost inexcusably so—and not everyone has liked the results, but nonetheless, after my test bottles were finally empty I almost cried. Aveda has a decent backup in its Pure Abundance line, which includes a bizarre but effective concoction called Pure Abundance Hair Potion.
But seriously, the best advice I can give you has nothing to do with products, and it comes through my hair guru, the brilliant Jon Patrick, who recently moved into the chic Cristophe salon in Beverly Hills.
"Any cut you have will have to have layers," Patrick says, and—here's the most important part—"if your cut is done right, you'll be able to blow it out and use little to no product to get the bounce you want."
That's right: zero product. Or something close to it. So before you head to the drugstore or Internet looking for hair salvation, take a trip to your salon first.
