The Wonder Wand

All mascaras are not created equal. Makeup artist Charlie Green says that big Christmas tree-shaped brushes may load on color in one application, but the results lead to smudging. Instead, she prefers slender and skinny brushes, like the one found on Maybelline Lash Discovery. "It coats each and every lash hair, and the small size means it reaches those tiny lashes at the inner corner of eye," Green explains. "One well-applied layer of mascara with this slender brush is more effective than any other shape of brush, as other shapes cannot get to the roots of the lashes."
