1. IF YOU GOT A OUTFIT THAT IS DIRTY AND YOU WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF NO WHERE AND YOU STILL WANT TO LOOK NICE WHEN YOU GET CLOSE TO A STORE WHAT STORE WILL YOU GO TO AND WHAT WILL YOU GET.

2. I'm entirely indecisive. I'm only 16, and I want a fun teenage bedroom, but I want it to stay mature and classy as well. My biggest problem is deciding on a color, and furniture arrangements. Any advice? Thanks!

3. Hi Thom * My name is Erica and I watch your show as often as possible! I am 19 years old and I have been begging my parents to let me redecorate the spare room in our house for quite some time. They just said yes and I can't wait to get started. I had a question for you about paint. The room is rather small and I was hoping to paint it a color that creates the illusion of being much bigger than its actual dimensions. What colors are known to open up and brighten spaces? Right now the walls are white and the carpet is tan. Also, there are three pieces of furniture in the room and each piece is large, bulky, and does not look propotionate to the small room. Where would you suggest I buy smaller funiture without spending a fortune? Thanks a lot! * Erica

I'm trying to buy furniture but I have to incorperate my great grandmothers BEAUTIFUL antique dark but not entirely dark dresser and a desk I plan to paint choclate brown. I'm looking to buy darker stained wood furniture, my only problem is that I'm scared all the colors won't blend, do you have any suggestions on how to make them blend...will they blend...HELP

7. Dear Thom, First, I would like to compliment you on the wonderful and thoughtful designs you create on you program. In addition your delightful personality make sharing that time with you fun and I look forward to seeing your program, whenever I can. That being said, I would like to ask you with the utmost respect and gentleness to take into consideration, my following request, please. All of us at some time or another, while being sweptt up during those exciting moments ot 'the reveal' fall back on the habit of saying, "Oh my God, oh my God!" On the surface it is just another silly little habit, not meant to offend anyone's religious beliefs or demonstrate disrespect, to "God" any God. But it does hurt to hear the title of someone we treasure and respect, being tossed around so casually. I am addressing not only my God, but the God of all other's. Please consider what I am asking for. Thank you so much for your consideration in this matter. Sincerely Yours, T. Marchant,

8. Hi Thom, first I'd like to tell you, that you are a fantastic designer. I have resently painted and designed my whole upstairs of my home. Which consist of 2 bedrooms, bathroom, living room, and kitchen. I am kinda proud of myself I got rid of alot of clutter and furniture. The bedrooms are very small. I bought bed frames and got rid of the footboards and the large dresser mirror and replaced it with a large wall mirror. I also lost the dark walls and painted them a light beige and hung my curtains as close to the ceiling as i could get them. Parted with most of my knick knacks. Doing all of this seems to have made my rooms appear larger. I just want to know if there is anything else that I can do to make them seem larger yet. Also I'm getting ready to redo our family room. My dear husband is quiet the deer hunter we have three on the walls down there with a stone fireplace anything you can suggest to help me design a room around them would be very much appreciated.Thank You

9. My comments are actually to the producers of Dress My Nest. I have loved Thom Filicia for as long as I have been able to see him on TV. I love his style, and I absolutely love his personality. He comes across as genuine, warm, and really fun. I love the way he really listens to his "Clients" and gives them what they didn't really even know they wanted. I would just love to hug him along with each one of them. My frustration is this--When he completes these marvelous rooms, I don't get to see enough of them. I love to get ideas for my own house, and even with my freeze and rewind buttons, I always feel that I didn't get to see enough. Is there any way to find the time to let the camera linger just a little longer? Thanks--And keep up the great work, Thom! Judy

13. Hello Thom I’m a 20 year old female that is in the wonderful world of college life. Next month I’m moving back to school to the dreadful and horror looking dorms. I was wondering if there is anything that I can do to make my room look homey and cute instead of morbid and depressing any good advice?

16. Thom: So I just bought my first house with my husband after having rented for the past 10 years. My dream was to apply to be on your show as I have no idea how to decorate my new living/dining space which is essentially just one very large room. But imagine my utter disappointment when you have to "live in the LA area" to even apply to be on the show. Come on, you have to come to the East Coast. There are fabulous but design challenged woman who need your style expertise! So what do you say? Be a peach and help your east coast ladies out! Oh and in case your reading this, Philadelphia is lovely this time of year. Toodles

19. Hi Thom, I have been watching the show and I love what you have done with the spaces you have been able to design. My Husband and myself have just bought our first home with our children and we are excited about our new adventure. However I am in charge of Decorating and have no Decorating sense at all. I am afraid to put things on the wall because i don't want things to look Cheap, cluttered, or Cheesy. Any advice you could give would be helpful I look forward to hearing from you. Kimana

20. Thom, Loved you and all the guys on "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy" and now you've went out on your own. How does one start all over again? In the last 10 months I've retired from a job I had for almost 33 years, but since then I have been through the worst 10 months of my life. I had to give up my horses, which I dearly loved, lost my home of 9 years * I'm now in a rental house ** and it seems like everything I try or touch turns to ***** I'm only 55 years old, but I haven't even had a date in 8 years. Please tell me life's not over yet. I wanted to apply for "Extreme Makeover" but I guess it's even too late for that. At this stage in my life can things get better??? By the way,the rental I'm in now is only 2 blocks from a bar in Indianapolis that is owned by a friend of yours * 22nd & Talbot ** and my son makes the CD's that the DJ's play there for dance music. Any advice or help you can give would be greatly appreciated. Sorry to bother you, just wanted a sympathic ear.

I am going into my junior year of college and am moving to an off campus house. i have my own room but i got the smallest of the four rooms. it isn't actually a room at all it is an office, my closet is across the hall! anyway its really small, only 11 by 8, and i dont know how to furnish it. I know i want a full bed even if it takes up most of the room. i would also like to paint the walls, i LOVE color but i cant figure out how to do it. My comforter is bright blue with other colors so i am worried if i paint the walls it will be too busy. I am also a poor college student so i dont have much money, HELP! thanks! samantha

31. Dear Thom,We watch your show in South Africa as well and really enjoy it. It is probably one of the better American shows on decor.Could you please ask your guests to refraim from using the words: "O my God" as it is disturbing on the ear. I really want to look at your show, but I have a problem getting over the fact that you can take My God's name in vain. I also notice that your are actually using it to market your show (three little words). Is this American culture or is it that you just don't you respect the Creator of this world?Your assistance in the matter will be appreciated. Regards

42. First * I would love Thom on a regular show * just "All About Style" and my question * want to paint my kitchen cabinets * older whitewashed or pickled wood now * low quality but will not replace. Thought an Ivory in a flat enamel? Using a variety of knobs for interest? Many say NO but I disagree. This is a moderate attached Florida villa like a million others..so?? Thom your thoughts?

47. Hi Thom,I recently got my apt and its adorable. I have this huge wall (its about 18-20 feet wide and about 12 or so feet long) that would be perfect for showcasing pictures and mirrors and all, but I'm just having trouble perfectly visualizing how I want to do it. I can see it in my head, but it fades in and out lol. I don't want to clutter it, but I want it to be balanced. HELP!
Rachel Tue, Nov 17, 2009, 5:42 PM
48. Hello again, Hey Thom, Rachel again ** just wanted to mention that I'm a college student (Fashion Merchandising) and I'm really not working with a lot of funds so if you could keep the prices at a minimum that would be great!
