Deal du Jour: My Favorite Plush Pillow

While at the mall this past weekend, I wandered into Bath & Body Works, where they had the most adorable home accessories from their Lambie collection (available only during the holidays) on display. The cute Lambie emblem was imprinted on everything from slippers to blankets. But the most popular goodie from the line was this plush toy for $8.

Who could resist those darling long lashes? I decided to buy the medium, pillow-size version ($19.50) for my little sister. After ringing it up, the saleswoman told me the Little Lambie was free with any $15 purchase. Score! I chose the cream and pink stuffed animal.

That night, I discovered that my fabulous freebie made the perfect neck pillow. I didn't have to struggle to find the right position to lie down in like I usually do.

Worried that it would lose its magical fluffiness over time (I plan on propping that thing under my head every night!), I went back to Bath & Body Works the very next day—which happened to be the last day of the promotion—and bought  two more, in black and cream and brown. The free-gift-with-purchase deal may have ended, but the stuffed toy is now on sale for just $5. You'd better hurry, though—some genius is already hawking it on eBay for a whopping 16 bucks!
