Yo!

Is it a freaking joke that yours truly had her "Love and Sex diary" story chosen to be featured in the pages of Marie Claire?

Holy shiznit, no!

Yes, the one who at one time had her writing and work torn apart by the editors due to horrible spelling and grammar will now have a story published! Just pick up the May issue of Marie Claire and turn to the back, where the Love and Sex section is, and you will see my diary.

But before going into my spiel on why it is bittersweet for me to have this happen and how I'm horrified for my friends and familly to read my "diary" and know such things about me, let me discuss the "New Take on Classics" shoot and issue with the editors.

It was really interesting for me to watch the struggle that incredible fashion editors such as Zanna have to face when pulling together a fashion story based on our weak and sucky economy. The beautiful thing about  Marie Claire—one of the many things that sets it apart from the other fashion publications—is how the editors can create and execute such an amazing fashion story and photo shoot based on a "necessity" for the readers and pull amazing high-glamour looks that are realistic and affordable to you and me. My hat goes off to the brilliant faces at MC!

Now to Sam and her boyfriend, Kenny: I am happy  Sam was able to have her bf come visit, as I know she had a rough time in the city. It was cool to see her so happy! However, I also know having him come and then go was really rough for her. I know what it's like to have a long-distance relationship, and it's hard work and yet painful.

While I'm still talking about Sam, I also have to say that I was blown away when I found out she went into a sex shop to get material for her "sex diary" assignment. Sam is a very conservative and proper girl, to the point where anytime we tried talking to her about her own sex life she would stay so mum. So this was a big deal in our circle, and I was proud of her for going out of her comfort zone and trying what it took to get the job done! THAT'S MY GIRL!

Finally, me writing my own sex diary: I was so nervous to actually do it, but I just had to. I had to take the risk for the sake of the magazine, and in order to turn in something incredible to Joanna. Yes, I was horrified to basically "undress myself" in such a way to the editors and have the potential of my diary getting published, so the entire world would know such details about my sex and love life. But I was working in the features department during this time and helping out Sarah Wexler, who is an editor and Lucy's assistant, and she told me the editors—including Lucy—do that all the time if they desperately need a story. They use a story about themselves. Knowing this, I just decided to do it. Lo and behold, Joanna loved my piece and chose it to appear in the magazine. I was shocked, excited, nervous and yet proud of myself.

    1. I was happy to see that your focus was on your story and not so much about cutting down Sam. I've seen you grow over the weeks and think you probably have the talent and drive to succeed. One thing I hope you will gain and remember is that you are never above another person..employee..everyone brings something to the table and we can learn from each person. Good luck as you move forward in the process. p.s. what happened to your dog?

    6. I'm not picking up Marie Claire to read anything YOU wrote because I find you so abhorrent. You should take a lesson from Samantha on how to behave because your manners and attitude are atrocious. Ditto Ashley.It's interesting to note that Sam was the only one who wouldn't talk about her sex life while you and Ashley wanted to be sure and get the message out that you're so great in bed. (Vomit) Could it be because Sam was actually having sex while you and Ashley were only fantasizing about it? Hmmm...... Sam has more class than the two of you put together. If Marie Claire didn't hire Sam it's definitely their loss.

    7. Dear Talita,I have to say, you seem to be "improving" for the better. Unless, you were just acting for T.V. I don't know. But, I wanted to say congratulations on your diary being chosen for the May Issue. I know your friends and family are proud of you. I also am glad that you finally have seen through Ashley. I mean that girl is something else.....I won't discuss her on your blog anymore. I wish best of luck to you in your endeavors...Also, keep in touch with Samantha, please. Be kind to her. She is a wonderful person and alot of people love her and I think your finding out how special she is. I wish I had a daughter like her. Best Wishes!!!

    15. CONGRATULATIONS...you realy deserve this. you worked realy hard and I am happy for you....I do beleive that you should stay intouch with Sam. I think she is real. and could be a true friend.     16. SOOO happy that Ashely didn't get the job! She doesn't deserve it, and if she doesn't change how she behaves, she'll always be at the bottom.For someone who, according to her, is "more experienced and talented than Talita and Samantha", she sure didn't work to prove that. Good riddance to Ashley. Honey, while you're at it, get a nose job and hit the gym! Oh, and hire a stylist. Your fashion sense is about as on-target as your perception of yourself. hahahaha
