  3. hey ruby! im soooo looking forward to watching the second season of your show. im sooo proud of you, i have a sister thats overweight. i think part of it is her asma medican but im concerned about her and also think its because she has a husband that needs much prayer dont really want to go into detail on here but he needs prayer.

Hey Ruby!!! im looking forward to seeing the second season of your show. i have a sister thats over weight and im concerned about her health. we went through alot in our lives growing up and i think it is part of her weight issuse and her husband is part of the other. i really dont want to go into detail on here but they need prayer alot of it. she also has asma she had it since she was little so the steroids is part of it too. at least i think so. anyways im soooo proud of you and to let you know you are a pretty lady regaurdless of your weight. you pretty inside and out. keep Jesus the center of your life and every thing will work out for the best. your friend in Christ, terri

  14. Ruby!!! it is so refreshing to see someone for REAL! You are so inspiring just being natural and without pretending to be something you are not. Thank you for bringing true REALITY to tv. You are reality that we can all relate to. I even let my 4 and 6 yr old daughters watch you so that they will know that it is ok to be yourself. They LOVE you!!!   16. Ruby,My husband and I are big fans of your show!!!!! As far as Denny, I think he may be a great guy for you because he challenges you and is a personal trainer.....this may be the key to assist you with maintaining and accomplishing your goals all around. Also, I think he worships the ground you walk on......believe me, that is rare. Also, romantic love is not unconditional. The only love that should be unconditional is between blood or adopted children and their parents. That all being said, do not ever let Denny know he has you, keep up the resistence routine and you will have him continuing to eat out of the palm of your hand. I think you are a beautiful person inside and out and especially with your popularity you have many options for male suiters. You are the poster Goddess for big beautiful women! I think even when you loose the rest of your weight (and you will) you will always exude the strong woman personality that is often associated with plus size ladies.

Hi Ruby, I am inspired by your strength and passion to succeed, we all know (yep, me too) that it can be so challenging and I think you are on the right track, by having a team to help you to put the pieces of your life together. I sometimes wonder, why or what am I hiding from? I hope that God gives you your answers and there is healing in them. Only then will you be able to conquer your situation! I have no doubt it is happening at this time! Keep up the great job and I for one will be watching you and cheering you on!

  20. Dear Ruby, I have always struggled with my weight. About 10 years ago I lost alot thru diet and exercise, then came Menopause. Well, I've gained quite a bit over the last 2 years and now after seeing your determination and downright courage, you've inspired me to stick to it in losing what I have gained.You are not just an amazing person, but beautiful, inspiring and such an outstanding role model in determination. God love you for inspiring us all!!!! And having the courage to do this journey in the public eye! I just can't say enough about you as a person... other than YOU ROCK!!! Again, thank you for inspiring all of us who struggle with our weight.

  21. Ruby, I can't believe that T.V. is going as low as allowing someone to go on T.V. because they chose not to get off of the couch 12 yrs ago when they were * 200 lbs. I mean the fact that you couldn't see feet * that time should have been enough warning. I had twins * 38 yrs of age and had enough sense to know that due to my age, my metab was working against me. Thus the reason I was back * my normal weight 6 weeks after I had them. I don't feel you're an inspiration, you're embarassing as a Women to me. You made a choice to allow yourself to get that big. Now you wanna get on t v and talk about how you're having a hard time dealing with it. Okay, why would you drive up to a fast food place when you're supposed to be losing weight??? I hope you look back on this one day and feel as embarassed for yourself as I do for you. Close your mouth, eat salads, work out more than 2 days a week. Lose the weight. It's not rocket science. Gees!!!!!

  34. Hi Ruby, I can relate to you completely. I am obese and you have gave me hope and realize that I can do just a little bit more. On your show tonight, you said your comfort food was a big pot of spaghetti. Mine too however I realize that can no longer be. Fruit is better. I envy your heart and determination and will start my journal tomorrow. I need help too. I need to lose a lot too. Last year at this time I was in the hospital for a week with my heart. My reason for losing is health-related. My husband is my support and we watched your show together. What inspiration you are. I will continue to watch and blog.   35. Hi Ruby, I hope you remember me. Robby Burnsed from Savannah. I just found out a few weeks ago about your show and couldn't wait to watch your premier last night. It was great! I've told several friends about you and the show. Gosh, it seems like yesaterday when you and Georgia were teens hanging out with all of your beloved friends. Even though we didnt see each other a lot or were not that close, when I did get to see you we always hugged and you were aways sweet to me. But that's just you and why I have never or will never forget you. I live in Atlanta now so if you are ever up here please look me up. If you remember when visiting Savannah not to long ago I ran into you and Georgia at the movies. It was just like old times and was great seeing you both. I'm really excited that the Ruby I know with that wonderful, fun loving, outgoing personallity now can show the world who you are and what an inspiration you have always been. Running out of room. You give not only me but so many others the courage to follow our dreams and i know at time that can't be easy. I am from Savannah Ga. but i have lived in West Monroe Louisiana for the last 23 years of my life.Today is my 39th birthday and the best birthday present ever was getting to come home to savannah this past week. When i seen ur show on tv it made me so homesick that we saved the money to come there last week. I wanted to look u up but i figured that were gone doing something with ur show so mabe i will catch u next time.   38. Ruby, don't be sad over losing your father. Remember the good times, celebrate his life in your memory and do something fun in his memory instead of eating. Maybe plant a special flower garden for him. Get your nephew and roommate to dig up the soil and then you plant his and your favorite flowers. Or plant a few fruit trees in his memory in your yard. Then when the fruit is ready eat a peach in his memory. Fruit is good for us. I am over weight also and lost a lot then I got cancer and put it all back on. I hope to start losing that extra weight again this summer.I went to Alaska fishing and kept up with my husband and his best friend so I am on my way. Your bike riding and walking is something I cant do yet as my bones hurt. I will get there just like you.A Fan!Cynthia

  40. Ruby * you are an inspiration to so many. I lost my brother when I was 20 and then was diagnosed with severe Systemic Lupus. I have struggled with my weight since then (I am 39 this Wednesday). I have tried them all and my doctors are telling me to have gastric bypass. I say NO! If you have the will power and dedication/motivation to do this, by golly, so will I. I love your show and you are stronger than you think. I am the same as you * wanting to please others and not myself. What's inspiring about you is that you are being responsible for your weight so that you can live a healthier and longer life, not because other people want you to conform to society's standards. I love that about you. You truly are an inspiration to my weight loss challenge. God bless and keep up the good work. I look forward to seeing you progress past your goal of 350! You can do it, Ruby!!!!
