1. These people are some ungrateful ******** I would not want the mother who is a police detective to ever come out to my house and take a police report from me. How unprofessional for her to represent her police department on national tv. It give cops a bad name. And yes the daughter needed to be ***** slapped after the way she acted towards Niecy and the crew and then didn't even apologize. Clean House is a wonderful show but I think they should be helping people who want to be helped because they have an illness and addiction to hoarding and shopping. I think after the way these two women acted, Clean House should have left their house and not fixed it up and used all the money instead to help "Feed The Children" or some other organization that really assists people who need it. Both those ******* needed to be ***** slapped!
Amanda Thu, Jul 2, 2009, 4:41 PM
2. I totally agree with kima. I think they were both ungrateful and underserving of all the wonderful things clean house did for them. I'm suprised Niecy did threaten to pack up and leave like she did in messiest home in the country 1.
Kim Thu, Jul 2, 2009, 5:27 PM
3. I agree with Kimba as well. How ungreatful they two "women" are. Once mom stormed out we saw where her equally ungreatful daughter learned her behavior from. I wish Clean House did a follow up in 6 weeks, 12 weeks, 24 weeks... Not just 2 weeks later and leave to never be seen again. There should be some kind of contract with these special episodes where all the money is donated to chariety. I assume Clean House foots the bill for the makeover... Say if Clean House drops by at ANY given time in the next 2 years and they have returned to their old behavior they have to pay Clean House the money that it cost to do the makeover. You know that both mother and daughter are going to go right back to their old ways. What do you expect from ungreatful people. Clean House is an awesome show and really makes a differance in peoples lives. People who need, want, deserve and appreciate it.
Margaret Thu, Jul 2, 2009, 5:33 PM
4. embarrassed for Niecy
Theresa Thu, Jul 2, 2009, 5:36 PM
5. Oh my stars America! I just want to share with you that these 2 are not the average folk of Cincinnati. I'm embarrased for my city! Clean house staff, you rock!!!
mimette Thu, Jul 2, 2009, 6:02 PM
6. These two women were the most extremely rude, ungrateful people I have seen on this program. Their denial was mind boggling. It was beyond the pale when after having seen 90 percent of their home having been beautifully cleaned and made over that the mother would go nuts over some old misplaced purses. And then to run off and leave without thanking the staff and the cast. This nasty daughter who refused to apologize for her temper tantrum and this wierdo mother did not deserve any sort of help whatsoever. What a complete waste of time.
Beth Thu, Jul 2, 2009, 6:22 PM
7. Agree with everyone above. I hope the mom's behavior really pays off for her at work!!! If I was that messy, I sure wouldn't want my coworkers to know!
Margaret Thu, Jul 2, 2009, 6:25 PM
8. I am so mad with this family. They were so disrespectful. They don't deserve the makeover. I don't believe that the girl did not apologize. Who she thinks she is? And the mother? What a police officer!!! I wish Niece and the crew should have left... This family deserve all the clutter they had. They are horrible people.
Tamara Thu, Jul 2, 2009, 6:27 PM
9. Don't police departments do psych evaluations? How did this mental patient become a detective? She can carry a gun? Anyone that hoards to the horrific conditions that she created with rodents and leaking pipes has mental problems! And she refused to admit it! 30 years of hoarding and compulsive shopping when she doesn't even have plumbing that works plus a ceiling caving in and a storage unit locked up for 10 years with no key?She is in desperate need of serious counseling and needs to be removed from active duty. If she cannot she how irrational and abnormal her behavior is, she has no business being a police detective.
Dennis Thu, Jul 2, 2009, 6:36 PM
10. The Baglien's show exactly why there are no men around. Rude and crude and screwed up to the max. Wonder how the mother serves as a police detective. She has the tack of a 2yr old. Clean House should make them pay for every penny spent on their behalf. I'm sure clean house spent more than what the charity got from the yard sale. What a sad senario.
beth landry Thu, Jul 2, 2009, 7:06 PM
11. Once again the Clean House crew has outdone themselves with an absolutely beautiful transformation! Too bad the ungrateful wenches had all that hard work done for them. I wish I could get Mark to design for me and I would know how to appreciate it. Those two women are mentally ill and selfish. Betcha a year from now if we could take a look at their house it will be a vermin infested pig-sty again. someone needs to knock some sense into them.
K~~~~~~ Thu, Jul 2, 2009, 7:44 PM
12. Horrible horrible! and I thought trying to get a GUY to admit they have faults or are wrong in something they are doing was hard. I wish they would spend some of that money on therapy and put it on TV as well.....I really wanna SEE the moment she AT LEAST says something like, "you're right, I buy alot of what I don't need and I will def try my best to be different because I like the way you've done my house and want to keep it that way..." how freakin hard would it be to say THAT?? I had to sell my house in a divorce and had a storage unit for 1 year because it came out of a garage that was packed to the ceiling for 8 years!! Guess what?? I left that storage unit with about 6-7 boxes (keepsakes from my son's and my childhood) THEN, went through that more and I have about 3! It CAN be done, I'm living proof! COME ON PEOPLE!!
Lori Thu, Jul 2, 2009, 7:49 PM
13. I dont even have to repeat any of the above messages..I just watched this transformation and hard diligent work of the clean house crew in Ohio and I am truly disgusted with the attitudes they had to put up with in Ohio. How pathetic and sad. Like daughter like mother...they both had issues and BOTH needed to be B
Jill G Thu, Jul 2, 2009, 8:00 PM
14. Everyone is mentioning how "rude" Sharon
Lori Thu, Jul 2, 2009, 8:07 PM
15. These women were both just plain nasty, in addition to being wacko slobs.. This beautiful makeover will be covered in trash again within a year. I felt sorry for the daughter at first, because the mother was so abusive. But we soon learned that that the daughter is just as awful as the mother. The mother is an absolute psycho--and is wandering around loose in Cincinatti with a gun. Yikes.
KAR Thu, Jul 2, 2009, 8:10 PM
16. Those people need professional help. And she calls herself a detective. Her boss need to see this show so he can see how sick in the head she is. If she can't control her hoarding and shopping addict how can she perform productively in the field. I wonder what her desk/office looks like. And the daughter is following in her mother's footsteps. I wanted to slap both of them for living in a house with rats and that much junk. The show needs to screen the candidates better before they allow them to participate in the show. If they had they would deem the witches undeserving of help.
lisa Thu, Jul 2, 2009, 8:11 PM
17. Sharon needs help. She is a definitely qa shopaholic. She needs to get serious help. It is very scary to think she is a police officer. That house should have been condemn in the state is was in. It was a fire hazard and unhealthy. She has probably had to remove children from homes in better shape than that in her job. Hopefully one of her superiors will see this show and send her for help. She and her daughter need to send sincere apologies to Clean House for their behavior.
Dee palmer Thu, Jul 2, 2009, 8:14 PM
18. I just finished watching the show with the messiest/nastiest house, Those 2 should not only be embarressed by their actions, they did not DESERVE what clean house did for them. I agree with what everyone before me wrote. Niecy and the crew really showed their professionalism in this foolishness....All I can say us WOW!!!! I am pretty sure that house is going to be full of mess and rodents again and it's not going to take 30 years..........Disgusting.... And I hope those 2 fools read this.
Leeann Thu, Jul 2, 2009, 8:15 PM
19. I am sitting here in my livingroom right now, July 2, 2009 watching the Baglien family episode.I have been watching Clean House since the first show aired, and I have never seen anyone as ungrateful as Sharon.Baglien. She has a sickness!!, HOARDING is a SICKNESS!! She has more excuses for how her home ended up in that disgraceful and disgusting shape!!. She is living in complete denial, and her daughter is heading down the same road whether she likes it or not!!!. I think that they just wanted your crew to come in and "clean" their house because they were too lazy to even attempt it on their own!! Oh yeah, and why not have "Clean House" buy all new furniture and kitchen appliances too!!.The only honest thing they did was to donate the money to their charity. I love the show, but people like that make me sick, all they are doing is taking advantage of your show.Thank you.
Caryn Thu, Jul 2, 2009, 8:16 PM
20. Unbelievable! I hope these 2 ungrateful disgusting people read all these comments about themselves
Ciko3it Thu, Jul 2, 2009, 8:21 PM
21. I love watching Clean House because most people are SO grateful for the help and the transformation of their homes....I was looking forward to the finale of the Messiest Home....what a let down!! These two women were bitchy, mean and ungrateful! How can you be so mean to others who are not only trying to help you, but give you new furniture, appliances, decorations, etc!! There are so many other deserving people out there who would give anything for an opportunity like that! Keep doing what you do Clean House....the grateful families outnumber the ungrateful ones!!!
Carol Thu, Jul 2, 2009, 8:22 PM
22. Neicy, Trish, Mark, and Matt.Thank you!!! You did a great job. Please do not give up, you encourage so many people. Can you imagine going to the grocery store, to work, or to school after the way Linda and Bridget acted. What goes around comes around!!
Dez Saunders Thu, Jul 2, 2009, 8:27 PM
23. Those 2 women are complete ungrateful IDIOTS...I hope they READ all these comments...The Show did a great job despite the stupidity of the Baglien twits...I bet they're still looking for those purses..
Nichole Blake Thu, Jul 2, 2009, 8:32 PM
24. So...Did Sharon ever apologize to the clean house team? I was appalled that two womens could act so appallingly.
Rodney Thu, Jul 2, 2009, 8:38 PM
25. WOW!!! What an unbelievably HORRIBLE family!!!! We were so angry halfway through the show, but just had to watch the train wreck that was going on. They both are in need of some serious therapy. And like everyone else, think they really should have been left in the filth they accumulated (over 30 years...LOL). The team was very professional and put up with WAY more than they should have from these two nutjobs. I have to admit that I could never have put up with their attitudes...they'd be living with their pet rats and garbage if it had been up to me. That clean house is probably ready to compete for next years show already, but I don't think they'll ever let a camera crew back in. Her superiors REALLY need to have her go for a psych evaluation, because she really should NOT be carrying a gun, let alone a badge. But I guess she should be carrying something, because she's obviously NOT carrying any cleaning supplies!! Congrats to the crew for an over the top job!!
Jen Thu, Jul 2, 2009, 8:42 PM
26. Well I have to say that was a great episode. I watched it with my 16 year old daughter. I now have complete confindence that I brought my daughter up right when she commited on how verbally abusive the mother was and how rude and ungrateful these ladies are. After the show my daughter got up and cleaned up the hot mess in her room.I also would love to see the house in a years time. I bet they won't be able to park in the garage for long. Maybe if they watch the show they will see how horrible their behavior was. I hope they are embarassed.I'm glad Neicy and Matt are back!
Linda from Texas Thu, Jul 2, 2009, 8:49 PM
27. I just finished watching this episode as well.I cannot believe how ungreatful some people are.Neicy, Trish, Mark and Matt you did an outstanding job. You turned that hog pen into a beautiful home.I want to complement you Niecy on your remarkable self control, when Bridget drove out of that parking lot...I almost threw a shoe into the television at her !And when the mother accused the crew of talking her collection of "old hag bags" ----that was too much!I had to pause it and go into time out for the words that I uttered.Keep the faith and Keep up the good work, we love you in Texas! Hugs,LindaP.S. I sure am glad that I don't live in Cincinatti ...I would be so ashamed!
Rymom28 Thu, Jul 2, 2009, 8:50 PM
28. I am curious to hear what the mother and daughter thought of their behavior and if they received any comments from others watching. I think most of America was horrified at their ingrateful attitude and disrespect to people that were coming to help them clean, and I hope they submitted a sincere apology to the entire cast and crew.
Uchegat Thu, Jul 2, 2009, 9:34 PM
29. Those two ungrateful B's make me sick. I hope they read all of these comments and they are ashamed of themselves. How rude, crude, and disgusting they both were to the Clean House crew. I would have left them there to rot in their own stinking rat infested mess. I kept watching only because I was hoping that Niecy would tell those two idiots to kiss her a**!! I hope the Police department is real proud to have that sow on the force. I'm sure her desk looks just as bad as her house, and her patrol car as well. NASTY!!The daughter was just as bad as the mother, the apple doesn't fall to far from the tree!! RUDE, RUDE, RUDE and UNGRATEFUL. Clean House needs to send them a bill for everything they did.
DL Thu, Jul 2, 2009, 9:39 PM
30. Unbelieveable. I can sympathize with the Cinn poster being embarassed these undermedicated rude loons were from her town. I was embarassed to be a white female in the Midwest. My sweetie and I kept saying "Ya'll need to stop and leave these people to their filth" at the TV. I feel sorry for their family having to be seen with them. The Grandma called it out when she said "I think my daughter is in denial". One of only two good things to come out of this is that the daughter will not get a chance to breed because once the families or friends of any potential boyfriend get a look at her they will warn the man off. The charity money was the other. Niecy, you're laying up crowns in Heaven girl for not punching either of them in the face!
MMF Thu, Jul 2, 2009, 9:40 PM
31. Dear Clean House,You are to be commended for your excellent work on the Messiest Home 3. The mother/daughter were the most ungrateful people we have all witnessed. I compliment Niecy for her incredible self control when Bridget was so rude to not only swear at her, but storm away. Most people would have been delighted to have your incredible help. I do hope you will find more appreciative/polite participants in the future. It is degrading to have to put up with the filth, clutter, wildlife and bad behaviour. Trish was genuinely trying to help the mother to admit and conquer her shopping addiction. Because both the mother and daughters' denials, this will continue to be a problem. Please carry on with the admiration of so many viewers! We love the positive work you accomplish to a willing family!MMF
Pammyyo Thu, Jul 2, 2009, 10:10 PM
32. Oh my God!!! I have seen hoarding people that are just mentally ill and live like hermits, but this woman has a career as a Police Detective? This woman needs some serious help and her daughter is taking on the illness, as well. And to threaten to "bitchslap" her daughter, whose baby shoes she is obsessed with?No wonder she is single. Who would live with her anyway? Man or woman. She may be gay.Yikes!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Pattie Lennon Thu, Jul 2, 2009, 10:18 PM
33. It amazed me...and I've now watched this episode at least three times, that Sharon doesn't seem to see that she really does have a problem. She's got one excuse after another. And while her daughter seems well intentioned, she's the apple still hanging from a rotting tree. She's just as damaged. Nobody should let themselves get to this point. It's really sad because you KNOW if Necy visits them in a month, she's going to see a new layer of clutter starting back up. Give it a year and they won't be able to walk in the house again. Sad....
pammyyo Thu, Jul 2, 2009, 10:20 PM
34. Another note to Niecy, Trish, Matt and Mark,You deserve a lot of credit for not losing your temper with these women who were impossible!!Love you guys and Niecy I am so glad you are back on. Subs were ok, but just not you, girl.Hugs to all!! I am huge fan. I have watched every episode many many times.
DB Thu, Jul 2, 2009, 10:23 PM
35. I wonder what Sharon's financial situation is like? Most shopaholics are maxed out creditwise. The daughter even admitted to having to move back home because she ran out of money. So, so sad....I wonder how long it will take before that beautiful basement becomes a pig sty once again? I would like to see the behind-the-scenes footage. I can only imagine what the cast was saying off-camera to one another.
pammyyo Thu, Jul 2, 2009, 10:31 PM
36. After reading again through here,Attention Cincinatti Police Dept. Pleeeeeeease put this woman on leave and insist she get help!!!!!
LR Thu, Jul 2, 2009, 10:37 PM
37. I cannot believe these two! They definitely did not deserve to have their home made over! They are so ungrateful and rude! They way they talked to the cast
enjayy Thu, Jul 2, 2009, 10:45 PM
38. I CANNOT believe the ungratefulness and rudeness from these two! The daughter I believe STILL owes an apology to Niecy and the crew for her selfish and rotten behavoir! No wonder the apple falls far from the tree. Props to Niecy, Mark, Matt, and Trish to dealing with their bitchy attitude!!
Dave Thu, Jul 2, 2009, 10:47 PM
39. I started out watching Messiest Home 3 tonight, laughing at the HUGE amount of stuff these 2 women had. But Sharon's nasty mouth started to irritate me, and then both of their attitudes made me feel terrible for the Clean House team. Shame on you Baglien family!
Suzanne Gowans Thu, Jul 2, 2009, 10:51 PM
40. I think your attitude, your daughters attitude was extremely rude! Have you heard the words 'Im sorry and "Thank you". And the fact that your home looked like Rumpkes Dump, is one thing that causes the City of Cincinnati to have a black eye, but the way you both acted, is tens times worse. While you did do a great thing for Lymphoma Society, it is made insignificant by the attitude you both showed. I think your attitude is probably a symptom of your disease. You dont care about yourselves or anyone else for that matter. I bet that the trash is back, the clutter is there and your nasty mouth and your nasty attitude is more than likely back. Does it make anyone else in Cincinnati cringe that the nation thinks that we live with people like this on our Police force? Sgt Stryker should be notified immediately!
Suzanne Gowans Thu, Jul 2, 2009, 10:55 PM
41. PS...I wanted to apologize to Neice, Trish, Matt and Mark for the horrible way they were treated by this terrible example of a citizen of Cincinnati. I assure you that they have been disowned by the citizens of Cincinnati, and probably Ohio for that matter. How embarassing *
Leona Thu, Jul 2, 2009, 11:12 PM
42. I agree with everyone above on all their commets. I live on the west coast and saw this episode. How sad that these two people are ungrateful for all the help they were given. I give great props to the Clean House team...2 thumbs up!
ace Thu, Jul 2, 2009, 11:18 PM
43. http://news.cincinnati.com/article/20090628/ENT/906290308News article on the ungrateful family....no worries * Sharon retired right before taping began.Clean House please air behind the scenes footage!!
Catherine Thu, Jul 2, 2009, 11:33 PM
44. I was so upset watching this episode of Clean House. This mother and daughter were so rude and ungrateful, if I were the Clean House crew, I would have told them to shove it, would have picked up all the equipment and left them to wallow in their s_ * t!!!!!They did not deserve the help that they got nor the gifts of furniture and remodeling. Shame on them!!!!!
Jessica Thu, Jul 2, 2009, 11:40 PM
45. I watched this show and my thoughts are just all over the place. I am actually also from the same neighborhood as this family and I was embarrassed for them. Not only was the house just the worst I have ever seen the mother and daughter were completely disrespectful and ungrateful. I could not believe my eyes when I saw the mother walk off the show over some stupid purses. Look lady you can't talk the stuff with you when you die get over it! You never said thank you not one time or at least not on camera I think this mother and daughter made all of Cincinnati Ohio look bad and I don't appreciate it at all. They should be ashamed, and no wonder it's just the two of them you sure don't see a man in the picture do ya?
Grizzly Thu, Jul 2, 2009, 11:43 PM
46. Their lives will never be the same after this wretched display of disrespect.
athene Fri, Jul 3, 2009, 12:07 AM
47. Thank you Ace I feel much better reading that April 4th Sharon did retired from the police force. Justbefore the show. I think * that shows that she was afraid of what her co-workers wood think.
athene Fri, Jul 3, 2009, 12:25 AM
48. I have enjoyed watching clean house from the begining. I was glad to see the group back togetheragain. You guys make a great team!! Watching tonights show was very upsetting! It reminded oflast year winners. It seems when people are true hoarders you can clean their house but theyreally do not understand at all. It is like you are hurting them by taking their stuff away to fast maybethe show should have a Doctor on stand by.
Pam Fri, Jul 3, 2009, 12:50 AM
49. I enjoy watching Clean House and seeing how the home and people are changed. The messiest house show I watched twice because I could not believe that after all the help the team gave this family the mother accused the team of stealing some old purses. What an ungrateful woman!! It is scary to know that for years she was a police detective.
Simple Fri, Jul 3, 2009, 2:39 AM
50. Normally I dont go out of my way to write comments about a show on a website, but after watching this particular episode i could not go to bed without getting this off my chest. this family disgusted me big time! i know people above have said it time and time again, but man were they so disrespectful, in denial, and just down right ungrateful. the saddest thing was for the professionals to put up with them after all they had gone through to HELP them. just when i thought the daughter was the victim and the sane one, she ended being a double-face mess like her mother---she herself has issues about letting things go. talk about following in her mom's footsteps and knowing it. I DEMAND a follow-up episode on this family because I, along with many others, was not convinced that they were gonna change. As bitter as it was to accept, the professionals did what they came to do and left the rest in their hands. It looks like the "real mess" remains to be cleaned! Overwhelmed? Tough!
