What Skin-Care Essentials Should Be in My Beach Bag?

I plan on going to the beach a lot this summer. Can you tell me what beauty products should I carry in my beach bag?

Sure! First, please—please—wear sunscreen. I don't care if you want to look savage. Look savage in your mind. Put sunscreen on your body. Clinique always has versatile and up-to-date choices, and you can't go wrong with that.
If you're going to a beach party, of course, you may need a bit more glam—in which case, style expert Gretta Monahan recommends Jouer Luminizing Moisture Tint SPF 20. "Many SPFs can leave skin looking white and pale,"she notes, "but Jouer Moisture Tint protects while giving your skin a radiant, natural glow." Dermelect also makes an interesting mattifying face cream that can reduce the oily look often left by sunscreen. You can keep cool or soothe skin after a day in the sun with Body Deli's Cucumber Juice Toner. It contains aloe, a known skin soother.
If frizz is thine enemy, fret not. Monahan recommends No Frizz by Living Proof, which claims that their formula works all day long. Or if your hair gets weighed down by oil or sweat, I cannot recommend enough the benefits of a dry shampoo. Monahan agrees; she likes Fekkai's Au Natural Dry Shampoo, which works in powder form and performs in seconds.
Et voilà! You are prepared to embrace the sun, or do battle with it, whatever your style.
