Ask Thom: How to Decorate Around a Green Comforter?

A few months ago, I bought this solid light green comforter. Now I am redoing my room and I have no idea where to begin! I want my room to be cool and inspirational, but I can't find any wall colors to match with it. Also, I'm at a loss when it comes to accent colors in the room.

I would paint the walls in a taupey color. It will make the room feel fresh and clean. Plus, it would be a nice backdrop for the green. As far as accent colors, the green would look beautiful with yellows. The best thing to do is find a pillow that you love that has the color green in it as well as other colors, and use that pillow as the inspiration for the accent colors in the room.

1. i think any color you choose should reflect your persanality. im 11, and i think a hazel nut brown would go very perfently with the green.they are very soft colours.
