One of the most stylish things ever is to give to those in need—and it doesn't hurt when you get something in return, say, an amazing application by a Bobbi Brown makeup artist. That's the treatment I chose at the Style Network and Lucky Magazine's Give & Get Fête held yesterday at Frédéric Fekkai's beautiful Beverly Hills salon. The event benefited Dress for Success and featured private spa appointments, an extensive "not-so-silent" auction emceed by Niecy Nash (think Ritz Carlton vacays, Kate Somerville beauty products and delicious dinners), edgy bracelets from Linea Pelle and a well-stocked Genetic Denim bar. Guests, including Denise Richards, Chelsea Handler and Giuliana Rancic, became slightly buzzed as they chose a pair of jeans of their choice. The evening ended with a performance from American Idol finalist Michael Johns and that overall elated feeling that overcomes you when you've pampered yourself, and both given and gotten. In other words, when everyone comes out a winner.
