Hem Your Jeans in Five Minutes!

At five foot three, I rarely find a pair of jeans that I don't have to hem, so I was ecstatic when the boyfriend trend came along. I wouldn't have to spend $10 for tailoring. I could just peg 'em up and go. My wide-leg denim trousers, on the other hand, have been sitting in the closet all summer waiting to make their debut. I'd had success with Bristol 6's Stylin' Tape when securing my blouses, so I couldn't help but wonder if Bristol 6's Hem Tape would have the same magical effect.
Since the legs of my jeans were wide, I applied six strips of the double-stick tape to each leg (for skinny jeans you only need two to three per leg). Instead of folding the fabric underneath, I created an outside cuff at the bottom of the pant. It looked well, tailor-made, and with my DIY solution, I had one less errand to run. A pack of 18 strips costs $12, so I only spent $4 per leg. That's less than the average tailor and it's instant gratification for your jeans.

1. I love hem tape...it is such a great product, I can't believe they didn't think of this sooner. Genius!I checked out their website, and found these fun little nipple covers called Nippies, and they are so cute! They are the ones that Rihanna was wearing....cool!
