Don't get me wrong—I loved Michael Jackson. I watched his memorial with tear-filled eyes, especially when Jennifer Hudson sang that rousing gospel rendition of "Will You Be There?" But even I have to draw the line somewhere. This weekend I caught a glimpse of that wacky press conference given by the woman professing to be the mother of this three kids. Oh, and let's not forget Mark "Oliver" Lester's claim that Paris is possibly his. It's just all too much!

And now this cover image of bad-girl model Agyness Deyn on the September issue of Harper's Bazaar. She's a "Pretty Young Thing."

Really? Here's the real deal about Agyness…

She's known for being odd and quirky. Kinda like Michael. And she changed her name from Laura Hollins to Agyness Deyn after consulting with a numerologist who said it would make her successful in the business if she did so. Sounds like something Michael would've done! Instead, he took it a step further, holding onto his name but altering his entire appearance so he could become an even bigger star. Perhaps Agyness is the best person to make like Michael for a mag after all.

Still, just as I was weirded out by the likes of Corey Feldman dressing like Michael at his funeral, I'm suspicious of this cover, which doesn't read like a tribute to me. It feels like a desperate attempt to cash in on the Michael mania. Even so, it's nice to see Agyness smiling for a change.
