Style Showdown: Hilary Duff Digs Through Leftover Prada

Hilary Duff, Tracee Ellis Ross

If the writer for Hilary Duff's new television series, The Business of Falling in Love, is anywhere as outdated as the show's costume designer we're in for a boring ride.

For starters, the Prada dress Hilary wore to shoot scenes in Manhattan is from the line's spring 2008 collection. Fine. It's still a pretty dress. But the devil Vogue editor who wears Prada has already showcased the dress numerous times during fashion week in 2007 and 2008. Tracee Ellis Ross wore the dress last year as well.

It would be one thing if Hilary looked fab in the checkered design. But between the tacky red hoops and Christian Louboutin booties that cut her off in an incredibly unflattering way, we're hoping the dress gets buried in the wardrobe closet.
