Ask Style: Which Foundations Are Long-Lasting?

I would love to find the perfect foundation for a dewy look, a full coverage look and a last-all-day look. I am not afraid to spend the money because I want my confidence back!

My testers and I have sifted through dozens of brands, happily recommending our favorites in the "dewy" department, plus what works well for full coverage.
Now, onward to a new category: the long-lasting foundation. Great news on that front. Several of our testers singled out a brand that almost anyone can afford: CoverGirl. The brand recently rolled out their Simply Ageless foundation, which combines foundation with the anti-aging ingredients found in Olay products, and the results are sensational.
La Mer works all day as well; of course, there's a good chance it will also take all of your money. Lyn Lynch, the fabulous New York makeup artist, also recommends Sephora's Hydrating and Smoothing Foundation—it has primer built in—or Make Up For Ever's Mat Velvet foundation. Make-Up Designory also has foundations with quite a bit of stick-to-itiveness, and another one of our testers loved the tenacity of Magic Wand Foundation from Too Faced.
All that said, here's a general tip: If you have a foundation you love, simply put a decent primer underneath, such as Primerstone from DuWop, and follow with a setting powder.

1. Also, Revlon's ColorStay (liquid, for dry, normal, combination and oily skin) is really good! I have that and it's THE best foundation I ever had!!!!I recommended to all of you!! ;D

2. I agree, Revlon Color Stay is one of the best longest-lasting foundations I have tried! I have tried many od them! I also would recommend it to anyone. You do have to be extra diligent in your cleansing because of it`s staying power!!
