Lauren Conrad is constantly sharing her fashion and beauty tips on the red carpet. So why not cash in on her expertise?
That's exactly what the reality star is doing with Lauren Conrad Style. The book, which will be published by Harper Collins next fall, will feature exclusive photos of LC and a play-by-play on how to achieve the 23-year-old's chic, California girl style.
"I am really excited to write a style guide," Lauren says. "When you wear clothes you feel good in, it shows in everything you do. I know this guide will offer simple, practical tips to help anyone look fabulous."
And if it's anything like her first novel, it's bound to be a bestseller—as long as this look doesn't make it into the book.

1. I love Super Nanny and Clean House. These are shows that my 7 year old daughter and I watch together. With Super Nanny, I use the rotten kids as examples of what my daughter should not be like. I point out all of the good and the bad to her. On Clean House, we love the yard sales and the makeovers. Let's get down to the nitty gritty, the real reason why I am doing this posting. One morning around eightish, I was combing my daughter's hair for school, watching the Nanny and what to my wondering eyes did appear but the D G commercial with 1 little girlie and two studs in heat. I was appalled. One minute I see a couple kissing passionately, then the next minute another jealous beau enters the room. Here I am in my innocence thinking that they are going to battle it out; instead it turns into an orgy with the 3 pawing each other on the sofa. I had to cover my daughter's eyes and change the channel. How appalling!! How can Style show this during prime time? Why is commercial even on.
