Ask Style: Know of Any Good Facial Mists?

I see all these "facial mists" on the market. What are they for?

As the weather heats up, and stress levels rise in direct proportion, this is a fine topic to address. In general, facial mists are delightful things, particularly if you work in an office that—like most offices—looks like an ashtray and has lighting inspired by Gitmo. Every hour or so, when you need a small escape but can't leave your desk, take your favorite facial mist and spritz lightly over your face, neck or arms. It's a combination of stress-fighting aromatherapy, cooling agent and, occasionally, light moisture. Here are some of our favorites right now.
If you favor a bracing, very herbal scent reminiscent of eucalyptus spas, try Pure Energy, which comes by way of Skinn. The scent is the opposite of floral, but that's the idea. It wakes you up and calms you down all at once. (If you must do floral, no worries. Try Dream Organics sprays in Exotic Love or Sweet Dreams.) If you like a little bit of bracing herbals mixed with a floral scent, well, you are high maintenance. But I still have a product for you: Lotus Wei Quiet Mind, a serious stress fighter of a spray outfitted with scents including lavender, juniper, coriander and geranium.
Citrus sprays also offer a wonderful pick-me-up in the middle of the day. Our favorite citrus spray of the moment comes from The Giving Essence. It's a little more Meyer lemon than bracing grapefruit, but sometimes a little sweet is a good thing. Bonus: it costs only $10.
