  7. Just in case the Style Network has not figured it out - without Niecy, Clean House will surely crash and burn. It is just not the same show without her there to spice things up. With nothing beyond January mentioned, it appears they are phasing her out and not giving us the full story. If misleading the viewers is what is truly going on here, you'll lose a lot of faithful followers of the show in a hurry when/if she is gone for good. Haven't you ever heard the old saying "honesty is the best policy?" Don't give us half-truths just to pacify us. The fact that a show aired without ANY mention of Niecy was surely a sign of things to come...So just in case you don't get it - WE WATCH THE SHOW FOR NIECY - not just the rest of the team. I like 'em all, but without Niecy things surely get bland!

  8. Clean House is a show that will not go on without Niecy. She has a great personality that definitely helps the show. When the show ran without her, I had a hard time watching it. Keep Niecy, Mark, and the blonde, can the other guy. He made me sick at how he made lying about things OK.

  9. This is the first time I have ever checked on a television personality, but I freaked out when Niecy wasn't on last nights Clean House. I just adore her, and I really missed her on the show. She is right up there with Oprah, as far as I'm concerned. I'm so happy to hear that all is well with Clean House and Niecy.

  12. I just checked my TIVO from this weeks Clean House and there was no NICEY. I agree whole-heartedly with everyone elses comments. The show was SO boring that I didn't even make it all the way through. If there's no more Nicey, please let me know...and I will take this show off my season pass. No Nicey. No Clean House. She really does make the show.

  13. WTF??? Why wasn't Niece on the latest episode and why wasn't her absence even mentioned? The show sucks without her. The other three simply aren't that interesting. Trish Suhr is very annoying with her exaggerated faces and scratchy voice. Mark Brunetz is okay, but he certainly can't carry the show without Niecy. When you say Niecy will be back in December and January, what about after that? I think it shows tremendous disrespect to not tell your loyal viewers what's going on. I'm a die hard fan of the show but, without Niecy, I doubt I'll watch as frequently. Without Niecy, the show is bland. She adds much-needed spice and flavor! BRING NIECEY BACK!!!!!

  14. As a huge fan of the show, I have to say the most recent episode was a huge disaster. I am sure we all love Mark, Matt, and Trish, but without Niecy the show does not work. Their new show Clean House Comes Clean is fine without Niecy hosting because it is just an extra clip show of preivous episodes, and Niecy is still in some of the extra footage. That show works fine without Niecy, but Clean House without Niecy was painful to watch. I liked Allen Lee Haff and i was sad to see him go but I also like Matt and Trish (fyi i HATE that ***** Linda Koppersmith). It was a huge mistake to not even mention Niecy in the most recent episode. There was an episode in the past wer Niecy became ill during the shoot and had to leave and the simple solution was to just tell us she was ill and leaving for a day which was no big deal. We all know Niecy has many other projects and has recently gone through a divorce. Many factors could be the reason why, but bottom line Clean House was BAD without her.

  15. I was in a complete state of panic when Niecy was not on the lastest episode. Before I deleted the show from my TIVO I checked the website to confirm my fears, and thank god they did not come true. This moment without her has made me realize that I only love the show because of her, and had to fast forward through this episode. Clean house is great, however without Niecy it really would be a HOT MESS!! Thank you for Niecy, and long live the queen!

  16. I glad to know that Niecy's absence is temporary (at least it better be). I just recently discovered "Clean House" and immediately became addicted. I too love Mark, Matt, and Trish and liked Allen Lee Haff as well. I am not t so fond of Linda Koopersmith - something about her on screen persona seemed a little astringent but it wasn't enough to keep me from watching because Niecy was there to balance it That's what she does on the show, balance and blend. She's the spice in the soup and without her it may still be good for us but it taste bland. I found Clean House way too tasteless without my Niecy spice!

  18. As with me, I was shocked not to see Niecy, so much so, that I commented to my husband. He told me to googl her, to see if I could find out what was happening. Without her the show was boring and flat, Mark as host? No offense, but not good. Trish I am sure is a nice person, but is that voice real? I have lots of family in the southern part of the US and none of them sound like that! Niecy, we look forward to your return, I had already decided to remove the show from from my watched list and the entire station from my favorite list, if no Niecy. We really just love her, just the way she is, no pretense! Sharon

  19. Has anybody thought abouth the fact that maybe Niecy does not want to come back and stay there?? I hope that is not the case. I used to watch TRADING SPACES all the time...until they got rid of Paige. That show does not work without a host either. Trading Spaces is not THE show anymore and I rarely, if ever watch it. I will not watch this show either without Neciey....

Omg I going through my dvr catching up on shows I missed last week, I click clean house thinking im bout to get my fix of ms. niecy and she is not there and everybody just carrying on like nothing happened. This is the only show me and many of my friend watch on this network. Without niecy whats the point! Might as well have just skipped this weeks episode til she came back. As ms. niecy would say this is "foolishness" and the style network needs to get its act together! No really, pleaseeeeeeeeeeee bring her back. :-(

  25. Thank goodness she is coming back. I had to check the web to see why not only was Niecy missing, but why they didn't mention that she wasn't there. I hope this is not due to a contract dispute and that there is another reason behind it. Hopefully, the powers that be were not testing the waters to see what the show would be like without her. Well, if they were, I hope they learned their lesson....without Niecy the show not only loses the one consistent cast member, but it loses it's oomph!

  26. I don't know what the style network was thinking but they made a huge mistake in airing andepisode without Niecy. If I wanted to watch a boring home decorating show I would watch HGTV. This new show was a waste. I also use to watch Trading Spaces and when they got rid of Paige I stopped watching.

  27. Thank goodness! I thought that the style network had lost it's marbles, getting rid of Niecy Nash. I am joining the rest of the folk to find out what is going on with my girl. It seems like you all would have said something about her abscence---being on vacation, needing a break, spending time with family. I cannot believe that there was nothing said as to why the star of the show was not there. Without salt, baby, the world looses it's flavor and that is what Niecy is to Clean House--- the salt. It would have been better for you to just show re-runs or somethign until she could be back in place. Do something quick...if it's more money---give it to her, if it is all red M&M's make it happen. The show needs her back badly!

  30. Well, I saw that she has a producer credit on the show, so maybe she is trying to do more behind the scenes work. She is a busy woman wearing a lot of hats these days - maybe she's trying to move on. But either way, I agree with everyone when I say that if it is true that either she, or the network, is trying to ease her off of the show, I will NOT - I repeat - WILL NOT be able to watch it. I enjoy all of the cast members, but thanks to this week's episode, I see that the show is truly lacking when she's missing. She brings so much attitude and "Mama" love to the show - none of them have her nurturing, firm, and plain crazy personality - that's why it took 3 to fill her shoes! Also, I felt weird about them trying to make the family funny. It was like they were reading from a script (like that horrible MTV show "Next"). They didn't even seem comfortable trying to say their "lines." It was just a weird episode lacking in flavor and fun. Basically, it was boring. Please don't do it again!

  32. Clean House is "the talk" of my office mostly due to the Niecy's mayhem and foolishness. If the Network wants to continue to keep their #1 rated show in good standing with the fans, then Niecy has to return as host. Afterall, she is the star of the show. To be quite frank, the Johnson/West family episode lacked the Niecy-isms and was quite boring. I usually watch the Clean House reruns...not this episode...(sorry), it was like a not-so-funny April fool joke. If her contract is being negotiated, the Style Network will lose MANY devoted fans if she does not return.

  35. I've just begun watching Clean House and I love it. Neicy and the rest of the cast are really great. I love to see what can be done with the different houses that are featured on the show. I just wonder, do they really have to deal with a lot of drama like they have shown? If so, I admire their patience. I just hope that I never have to see a house the way that those houses start out with. Keep up the great show.

  36. My sentiments are similar to the other respondants. I love watching Clean House.......WITH Niecy Nash and the supporting cast. I still want to know what happened as my mom and I just viewed a show that I DVRed this week and SURPRISE!!!!!-----no Niecy. My mom, 75 year old, even protested. She said "Baby, where is Niecy?" And when I told her that I didn't know, she said "Well baby, you better get on the computer and find out." Anyway, please don't play with the fans. Honesty is the best policy. If there is a problem, out with it. Just know that the show lacks it's vavavavoom without Ms. Nash. I read a magazine for the first time while the show was on--not a good sign. Please bring Ms. Nash back and I hope she is still interested in the opportunity of hosting this show.

  38. Tonight I turned to Clean House and no Niecy. I was so disappointed, I called my sister to ask her had she heard anything. She stated she had just turned to watch it and was going to call me! Amazing that people think just like we do. No Niecy, No Show!!! So glad she is coming back in January. If she is gone after that so am I! Please Style network do not start any "foolishness and mayhem!"

  40. Niecy ties the show and the group together. They all work as a team to make a great show. Mark, Matt and Trish are great at what they do but they don't have the same brass and charm as Niecy We also turned off this episode and swiched to another program. there are lots of shows to fill the space. We will also return when Niecy is back.

  41. really missed Niecy--show not the same----the entire cast is great----would not want to see any changes at all---it is the blend of the four of them that make this show---i watch this show even when it is a rerun because i get such a kick out of it---they are all so funny and down to earth but without Niecy it is just not the same--if they have any sense at this network Niecy will be back ---otherwise I will look elsewhere-----think we deserve more of an explanation

LIKE OTHER VIEWERS I ONLY WATCHED THE ENTIRE JOHNSON/WEST EPISODE BECAUSE I WAS WAITING TO GET A NIECY UPDATE. I WAS STUNNED THAT NO EXPLANATION RE HER ABSENCE WAS MENTIONED. IT WAS TRULY AN AFFRONT. NIECY IS SO GENUINE, FUNNY, BEAUTIFUL AND CHARASMATIC. HER PERSONAL GOAL TO IMPROVE THE HOMEOWNERS' QUALITY OF LIFE IS WHAT SHE BRINGS TO THE SHOW AND IS WHY I GET THE OPRAH COMPARISON OF OTHER VIEWERS. SURELY STYLE IS AWARE OF SIMILIAR HOME MAKEOVER SHOWS BUT NIECY IS WHAT MAKES CLEAN HOUSE A UNIQUE SUCCESS. IF MANAGEMENT THINKS SHE IS EXPENDABLE I HOPE THESE COMMENTS PROVE OTHERWISE.   45. Has anyone seen/heard a reason for Niecy's absence? Like many other viewers, I found the Niecy-less Clean House painful to watch. She is terrific! The others are great at what they do - and don't do - (remember the whining **** of a woman with her daughter who wanted all her things back and hated the green walls? I would have bopped her!) but Niecy is the key component in that show. I agree with the viewer who mentioned Trading Spaces - I haven't watched since Paige left. The producers shot themselves in the. . .ummm, foot. . .when they got their knickers in a twist and fired her. My daughter and I met Paige at a book signing - what a lovely young woman! And I get a kick out of Niecy; she tells it like it is with humor. Great asset. (Sorry to hear about her divorce.) Niecy, please come back soon!

  47. Bring Nicey BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! . They need her to really spice up the show. So what the real reason, contract, she got married, your president thought she could be used, . someone thought she really not A list. Well listen exec's she is A list for hosting remake shows. I add extra cable stations just to see the show, if she goes so will style network. Be nice and give her what she wants, or you will not a show.

  48. I have never been to this website before today. I had to come find out where Niecy Nash had gone. I like the other cast members but the show is nothing without Niecy. It's like watching Seinfeld without Jerry. There was NO mention of Niecy. As a viewer I think the Style network would have done better by mentioning on the show that Niecy would not appear on the episode just like they did that one episode where she was ill. I watch this show for NN. If she is not on here I will not be watching.

  50. Hi Style Network........... I have to admit that I was really worried that Niecy had left the show...... If she had, I would have had to stop watching. :-( Everyone on the show is great. They all seem to have a great time. Please, please do not change a thing! We need Niecy!!!!!!!!!!!!
