Are Leggings Still In?

Is the leggings look considered fashionable or is it a silly trend that really should be done with?

Don't tell me: You got a black pair and, perhaps, a gray pair from your mom this past Christmas. And you just don't understand the craze. To answer your question, leggings aren't going anywhere, especially when stars like Sienna Miller and Jessica Alba, shown above, are still spotted championing them! But to spice things up a bit, take a cue from the fashion forward women of Tuscany: Treat yourself to a pair of leggings with a little va-voom.
When I visited Italy recently, women were queuing up three deep at their local sock boutiques, stocking up on piles of wildly fun stockings and socks. Live a little! Try animal prints! Patterns! Colors! Textures! When worn with simple tops, they can flatter any shape and add much needed versatility to any closet.
"We consider leggings very fashionable and believe them to be a wardrobe staple," says Priscilla Pariente, owner of the design house Manoush. "You can dress them up or wear them casually. They are an inexpensive piece, and not only are they affordable, but they can fit every body type."
Got a little black dress that needs a makeover? A big old sweater circa 1987? A pretty new tunic dress from Erin Fetherston? A new wrap dress that you’re not sure what to do with? Leggings, woman, leggings! Conscious about your shape? Go ahead a wear those fun leggings under your favorite denim skirt of any length, or under a big, cozy button-down shirt. You’ll never see them as dull or silly again.

2. hello my is wanda and about five year ago i had gastric bypass,which i think the god lord for,but i have alot of work that i need done to my bidy to remove unwanted flabby skin that holds me back.and as well it makes me feel tried and im so a shamed of my body its unreal,and im asking for your help to help me get all my body work done that i need,which is a exemere makeover that i cant aford due to the fact that i live on ssi and it takes that to bearly help me get bye.and now that my father has pass away i have to pay on his buirer due to the fact he had no insurce and i was planning to get my teeth fixed but now i cant so would you and clould you pimp my body lol.i pray every nite for help to get all my skin removed that would be my second dream in my life time anyway.so please can you help me,thank you ever so much wanda burnett 2055229880.......god bless you all

3. I think leggings are still in but in that picture...i don' think she should have worn it like that...i think the dress should have been shorter

4. I think J. Alba is not a representation of someone stylish - she is too short and obviously works with a 'stylist' - look to someone who is actually creative with their style that ACTUALLY LOOKS GOOD. Otherwords, barf to the look.

5. I live in Minnesota, where 9 months of the years the weather is less than skirt-friendly. As far as I'm concerned, leggings are a new-found staple for northern girls like me. Otherwise, we're stuck wearing the same old "jeans and lingerie tops" that we used to be entrenched in.

6. I deffinatly think that leggings are still in. I mean if u have an amazing babydoll dress, and u think that something is missing, go ahead and add a pair of leggings to that outfut and u will have an even more amazing outfit! Even to all those women and young girls that are a little on the big side, leggings are a miracle when u add them with a skirt. Leggings are one of the greatest inventions. Dont let anyone tell you that u cant work the leggings cuz let me tell u honey , anyone can work the leggings! go ahead by another pair of them and work those leggings!

7. Leggings are definately still in. I've never worn them and I don't plan to but they are quite sexy.

8. Hey, my style is apparently a "classic" look. How do I organize my look as a more retro, colorful, and an "out there" appearance? My style is more of a black, white, navy blue wardrobe. Are Uggs still part of the fashion trend?
