Feathers Remain In Flight

Last year's plumage has not plummeted. Instead, stars are adding more feathers to their frocks. Just take a look at Tyra Banks. Last year at New York Fashion week, she selected a Prada dress with subtle feathered sleeves (above, right). But at the recent BET Honors, the supermodel chose a Georges Chakra gown with prominent plumes adorning the neckline. "Feathers are so popular because they are the perfect combination of whimsical and classic," explains Primp designer Wells Butler, who recently featured a feather print in her casual clothing collection. "They are a timeless symbol of free spirit and they will never go out of style."
