Flattering and Fashionable Florals

Style Secret

Once reserved for grandmothers and garden parties, florals are back—and brighter than ever! The defining factor this season is contrast. Toughen up the feminine print with a leather jacket, chunky heels or a dark pout. Need the perfect-fitting frock? Above, dark colored shoes from Chinese Laundry balance out flowery A-lines by Diane von Furstenberg, Teeze Me and Plenty by Tracy Reese. While this style works great for pear shapes, you can find rosy options for every silhouette in msytyle's Florals for Every Figure gallery.

    1. Dear Style network, I'm 49 and on the verge of the big 50, ahhh!! I watch your channel more than any other and I love it. I'd sure like to see some style tips for someone my age. I'm 5'4" about 118lbs, I've chicken skin on my neck, major commas around my mouth, I'm bereft of a chest and above my knees are looking too saggy for shorts. My calves and ankles are big and my legs look cut in half in capris. I never wear ankle straps and always go for wedges to balance out my leg. I do have pretty muscular arms, small hips and a short thick waist but flat stomach. I don't have a clue how to dress for my body or age. I can never find pants that fit since my thighs are bigger than my hips. I wish I could send you a picture. I need help. My husband is 4yrs younger than me but I look more like his much older sister. I have very fair skin and frizzy reddish blond curly hair. I feel embarrassed to be out with my husband, he looks so young. HELP Kim
