Drool-Proof Your Dress

First there was Atkins, then South Beach and then The New York Diet. If the recent emergence of bib blouses and dresses on size 2 models has ever made you wonder if a new Baby Food Diet was the next big fad, you can pop in your pacifier and relax.
The catalyst for this spate of babydoll chic is not spit up, but Chanel. Once Karl Lagerfeld introduced this dress for summer, his sometime muse and protégé Lindsay Lohan (who conveniently already carries a bottle as her favorite accessory) immediately adopted the style and her party pals followed suit.
With the mini trend still going strong for summer, "bibbing it" is a nice way to add a little youthful embellishment. Just beware of starlets who carry cocktails in sippy cups!
Steals n Splurges
Steal
Want Lagerfeld's high-fashion style for a lot less? Then you'll go gaga for this coquettish frock from Three LA; $165.
Splurge
Sorry big spenders! Couture is hard to come by. Do like Courtney Love, who wore a knock-off to Paris Hilton's b'day party.
Could the bib craze be a symptom of Hollywood's obssession with looking younger? Grab a crayon and take our poll after the jump.
Does this tasty trend have you salivating?

1. I think the bib dresses are just a new fad, not trying to look younger, although it is kind of weird.
