I've recently entered my mid-30s and notice that my usual makeup is starting to look all wrong on me. Any advice?
—Raiza S., via the Ask Style inbox
Sure! Here to help with this is a real pro, celebrity makeup artist Brett Freedman, who works with Jessica Biel, Vanessa Hudgens and Reba McEntire. Here we go.
They aren't kidding about sunblock. "If you haven't been doing it already, once you hit your 30s, it's time to really focus on SPF," Freedman says. "This is when hyperpigmentation can set in." (I love Sensai's Brightening Cream, which has an 8 SPF, or pick up your favorite Olay day cream at the drug store. If you're serious about fighting wrinkles as well, I'm really liking CellCeuticals PhotoDefense daily skin cream, which comes with an SPF of 55.)
Once you hit 40, you might want to add a lightener as well as more SPF. I love Osea's very gentle one, or, Freedman suggests, simply talk to your dermatologist to find the right brightener for you. Either way, it's not unusual for your skin to have changed tone; make sure your foundation or powder isn't suddenly too pale, Freedman warns.

MIRACLE PRODUCT: Pixi's Rosy Sheer Cheek Gel ($20)
THEY SAY: The stain will give your cheeks a natural-looking and healthy burst of color. Plus, it's hydrating.
WE SAY: Keep reading for reviews from Style staffers!
Pros: It went on smoothly and felt very moisturizing. I liked that it was faster to apply than regular powder blush.
Cons: It's a bit pricey. I would maybe pay only $12 for it.

TREND: Lace nails
WHO'S WEARING IT: Blake Lively, Jennifer Lopez
HOW TO WEAR IT: Designers have found some pretty outlandish ways to incorporate trendy lace, from bodysuits and sunglasses to even animal ears! But lace nails are one unique take that we'd totally try. If you want to use real fabric like the stars, keep reading for celebrity manicurist Elle for Barielle's tips, or check out this detailed video tutorial. But if time is an issue, let us suggest the stick-on. Sure, it's not authentic Parisian lace, but there's something to be said about instant gratification.
Get the time-consuming manicure in a minute by shopping the steal 'n' splurge stickers below! And to see more nails, beauty and big hair, check out the sneak peek of the Jerseylicious premiere now!

You're going to have to buy two 2011 Kim Kardashian calendars next year—one that features her with golden hair and one that shows her sporting her natural raven locks—to keep up with the prolific reality star. While we prefer the gorgeous gal with jet black tresses, we're pretty sure that the fellas will love getting to choose between taking home a blond or brunette Kimmie! And, let's face it, the sexy pinups are really more for the guys. That's OK; we ladies can still support our favorite TV personality through her shoe line and fragrance.

At last night's New York premiere of The Bounty Hunter, Jennifer Aniston was a knockout in a draped Donna Karan asymmetrical dress. It's probably the best we've seen her look since she was a bohemian goddess in Chanel at the 2004 Emmys.
Nude just works so well with her sun-kissed hair and golden tan.
Last December, Gwyneth Paltrow donned a similar dress from Donna Karan's spring collection in a more blush hue to match her rosy complexion. But the pin-straight hair and lack of accessories makes her no comparison to Jen. In this battle of the exes, Aniston is a clear winner.
Or do you prefer Gwen's more minimalist approach?

The angelic Amanda Seyfried has been trying to edge it up for a while now. First there was her daring cleavage at the Dear John premiere. Then came Lady Gaga sparkle at the Oscars followed by an unfortunate green mini.
But at last night's New York premiere of Chloe, Amanda finally got it right. The black accessories brought a downtown vibe to her vibrant turquoise RM by Roland Mouret. It was fun, flirty and young—just the way a young actress should dress.

Spring jewelry trends! Tell me all about 'em!
—Carly, via the Ask Style inbox
There are a good half-dozen solid trends going on in the accessories world. Some of them even—get this—clash. It's like they say: two designers, 20 different opinions. But we sally forth nonetheless.
Let's start with neutrals.

Anna Kendrick gave us a peek at her personal style during a pre-Oscar party benefitting the Red Cross Haiti Relief Fund at the Beverly Wilshire. She was gifted with goodies from DayNa Decker and NuFace.
WHAT SHE'S STYLIN': I am wearing a Louis Vuitton kimono coat and Vero Cuoio studded booties. Those are the only fun things that I have on. There's nothing really exciting underneath—just my old stuff.
FASHION PHILOSOPHY: I try to dress as comfortably as I'm allowed to get away with. I've been trying to play and push myself, but I generally tend to stay safe.
WHAT A GEM!: I get most excited about jewelry. That's more instinctual for girls. We don't have to think about whether something is of-the-moment jewelry. You kind of just trust your gut. I like to wear delicate pieces.
CASUAL CUTIE: I haven't really done many red carpets to have favorite big-name designers. But casual-wise, I love to shop at Splendid and Gentle Fawn and Aritzia.
HIGH-HEEL HEAVEN: I love Sergio Rossi's heels. He makes comfortable shoes that are massively tall!
SAVING FACE: If my brows are groomed, I feel at least slightly polished when I'm not wearing any makeup. I use Anastasia brow gel and Smashbox brow powder.

In case you haven't noticed, Kimora Lee Simmons' family just keeps getting more and more beautiful. We've always been smitten with her cutie-pies Ming and Aoki (Kimora's young daughters with ex-hubby Russell Simmons). But then she went and fell in love with handsome model-turned-actor Djimon Hounsou. The couple had adorable baby Kenzo last spring.
We enjoy seeing the genetically blessed clan out and about. Recently, they attended the opening night of Cirque du Soleil's "Kooza" in Santa Monica, Calif. Djimon (in a newsboy cap, teal polo shirt and black leather jacket) and Kimora (in a black jumpsuit and silver platforms) made for a stylish couple! But the girls stole the show with their unique fashion sense. Ming channeled her inner punk princess with her blue plaid T-shirt, black leggings and striped sweater, while Aoki was the quintessential girlie girl in a pink flower-accented dress and stuffed animal accessory.
We can't wait until Kenzo is old enough to join his fam on the red carpet. He may very well upstage them all!
To see more of the fabulous quintet, visit our Kimora's Family Album gallery and don't forget to catch the new season of Life in the Fab Lane starting Sunday, March 21 @ 9/8c only at Style!

We're glad Taylor Swift left the cutesy country girl way back in Nashville when she stepped onto the VMA red carpet in a glamorous, glimmering nude Kaufman Franco gown. We almost forgot that she's a young 'un who strums her guitar and sings about lame boys.
But T.Swift isn't the only emerging star who's been dazzling us lately. Gossip Girl's Jessica Szohr broke out of her TV character's bohemian look at the Art of Elysium gala in a sultry Kevan Hall floor-sweeping frock that reminded us a lot of Taylor's lovely dress.
Both ladies look incredible, but one paid almost 20 grand for her makeover. Can you guess who?
