Trend Overload: Bows or Bust

Bows on shoes? Supercute. Bows on belts? Flattering. Oversized bows on shoulders? Dramatic.
But wrapping your chest is a trend that's killing me!
If you're a flat-chested teenager, go for it: Wear a pink party dress to homecoming and a black strapless to your winter formal. The extra volume works on your developing frame.
But if you're out of school, you seriously run the risk of looking like Minnie Mouse.
Zac Posen and Giorgio Armani seem to disagree. Look how they tied up Parker Posey and Kristin Chenoweth. I usually love their designs, and while Kristin doesn't look awful, I've sure seen her dressed a hundred times better. As for Parker? No comment.
Bottom line: Unless you're presenting yourself as an early holiday present to your boyfriend, please keep the bows off the girls.
