My little cubicle was smack-dab in front of Giuliana's office when I started at E! News. I was assisting the executive producer at the time, running around the newsroom, making coffee, passing out reminders to do time cards. And I remember the first time I saw Giuliana in person. (She is much taller in real life.) I was so nervous about meeting her—I had been watching her on TV since her platinum-blond days. She has a Madonna presence about her (the singer, that is), and I think that is why I was such a big fan. I introduced myself to her, and she was nice to me from the very start.
Months passed, and eventually she was looking for an assistant. I jumped at the opportunity. Soon I was hitting the red carpets with her and heading to big-time movie premieres. It was a dream.
Word had already started spreading through the newsroom about her new boyfriend: BILL RANCIC! She had been flying to see him in Chicago almost every weekend. I was checking out the blogs one morning and saw a picture of them running together by the beach. I was so happy for the two of them—she had a new glow about her! She was always smiling at work. Later, they announced their engagement. You can ice skate on the ring Bill picked out for her!
The first time I met Bill, he was stopping by the E! studios to see Giuliana on his way back from the airport. She said to me, "Bill is here, come down with me and get him." It was just like watching an episode of The Apprentice. A shiny black Town Car pulled up to the curb, and out came Bill. He is a total looker; he looked like a professional baseball player in an expensive business suit.
Their big engagement party in Chicago was done. A gigantic Italian wedding needed to be planned. Giuliana called me into her office one afternoon and said, "Matthew, we are flying you to Italy!" I think I blacked out for five minutes after she said that to me. "Bill and I want you to plan our wedding." This was like a young gay guy's dream come true. I was planning a wedding and going to Italy!

1. i really hope the two of them really thought long and hard about this. i hope and pray they do not end up like so many other couples. i wish them the very best and i pray that they keep their love alive and real for one another and please not let fame tear them apart and they end up inbad headlines * I pray they be the couple that survives a reality show that is my true and honest prayer for the two of them. please keep faith in God and each other and let nothing or no one tear you two apart. be blessed on your new journey *

3. First of all * she looks like a dog * Not only can?t I understand what she is doing on E! with no personality what so ever?now a reality show? For what? To show us how she bosses her husband around * No thanks!I had enough of her face * I don?t watch E! no more, just a garbage channel!

5. I love, love, LOVE this show! I think that Guiliana has a LOT of personality and she's beautiful, funny, so nice and down to earth. They are really lucky to have found one another. You can see how happy they are and it's not some cheesy, fake happiness. They are genuinely in love. And Matthew seems to fit right in with them, his scenes are great! I am so glad that you two have made a show together, I was a fan since I saw you on Dress My Nest. This is what a loving couple looks like. This is the type of relationship that I want with someone and I thank you guys so much for sharing your story and marriage with the rest of us. It's beautiful!

6. I love the show and Guilana and Bill but I have to agree that they are role models for young people and their audience and I would love to see less of "you are a liar" and derogatory stuff. I think it is their way of teasing but it is so not cool. I think they must have a blast and are working through from one to two in a fun way. But if push comes to shove, I do believe that Guilanna should follow Bill rather than vice versa. Call me traditional. LOL

7. I like Guilianna and was shocked at the way she speaks to Bill. "Rancic this, Rancic that!" And the "you are a liar" was down right wrong, especially to a man who shows her so much respect.As for a matter, I am not on the gay bandwagon, and I think he is a bit too much in their lives. I think if he is her assistant then he should do his job in the office and not in the couples home. JMO of course, but that is how I feel.

9. I know this is old. However, I doubt you are famous Marva. I'm not. But it is easy to tell from seeing famous people on TV to reading about them in magazines to even seeing them IRL in those rare occasions that they live and breath by their personal assistants. It is not just a secretary in the office. Famous people bring their PA everywhere they need to be and involve them in a lot. Perhaps you should read up more on entertainment news besides all the other hard journalism you most likely read regularly.

10. Because of Bill only, I started watching the show. I always thought he could have done better. He is so classy. Why he married that bone Guliana, I have no idea. With her demanding ways, he probably felt roped into it. And she is not even cute! If she put some weight on, she might look a lot better. Bill, what happened, fellow? From watching a small snippet on their show this afternoon, she was commanding him to move to LA, something that they had not agreed upon BEFORE they got married. Why try to change Bill's mind on national TV? Why? Because she is #1, a liar, she promised him something that she has not stood by, and #2, she thought that being on TV, she could strong arm and embarrass Bill to do "what she said do", which is who she is. She's a trickster, and that is deceit on her part. She thinks that it's all about her and the world should bow at her feet. Frankly, I'm embarrassed that they have a show. She is so self-centered and ridiculous to watch. DIVORCE, wait and watch!
