Ask Style: What Will Fix Discoloration?

Lauren Hutton Brightening Serum

I wear sunblock but I still get discoloration on my skin. What am I doing wrong?
—Kayla F., Los Angeles

Style Spy Says: Berry

Could be not enough sunblock—or not. No sunblock gives complete, total sun protection, you know, so if you haven't been wearing a hat while frolicking about on the beach, even the best sunblock will fail you eventually.

I recommend a brightening serum. Like sunblocks, some are better than others. Clinique makes one and so does Elizabeth Arden, and so does, of all people, Lauren Hutton. But I prefer Osea. Osea makes a very gentle one that may take up to three months to work, but it has no harsh chemicals or hidden ingredients. You only get one face; treat it gently!
