    1. Can't wait to see this show. Will be very fun. CW

  • Maya Thu, Sep 17, 2009, 1:56 AM

    2. How will this be fun? People who act like this are a disgrace. If they were in my lifeboat, they would be the first ones overboard as they could not contribute to survival without their "entitlements".

  • Alla Thu, Sep 17, 2009, 4:46 PM

    3. Well Ms. LIFEBOAT * you dont even know what the show is about * and how quick you are to JUDGE,,, one who judges based on a few photos is surely the looser here. I hope YOU know how to swim **

  • Treva "The Diva" Sat, Sep 19, 2009, 11:28 AM

    4. I just saw the advertisment for the show....THIS MORNING! Dallas Divas

  • Chris Sun, Sep 20, 2009, 1:17 PM

    5. Maya, I find it rather amusing you judge the people that are on a TV show just by seeing the trailer. I mean the show hasn't even aired yet!

  • No Class Mon, Sep 21, 2009, 1:48 PM

    6. I am absolutely appalled that with the state the economy is in, anyone would think a show like this would be a good idea. People are losing their jobs, their homes, their everything! How is it supposed to be entertaining to watch a show about bunch of people with all that money? Whining and carrying on about the most trivial of matters. Chris: you bash maya for judging the people on a tv show that hasn't even aired yet. Have you seen the "trailers"? "My house is better than everyone's, so they can kiss my ***** "I don't mind being called a ****** cuz I'm a very nice ******* (daughter to mother...) "I didn't say I hate you, I said you're stupid". Pretty easy to figure these people out, don't you think? All the money they need, but not one ounce of class.

  • Chris Tue, Sep 22, 2009, 10:59 AM

    7. I have seen the "trailers." In fact, I know a family personally, I've known them for a long time. I'm even in an episode or two. Some of these families aren't as outrageous as the show makes them out to be. Like I said, you're quick to judge. No class? Talk about you judging people from a 30 second trailer. Come on...

  • No class Tue, Sep 22, 2009, 12:55 PM

    8. Yes, I can judge that this is a very tasteless and inappropriate show for these times. How about a show that focusses on real problems and real issues. Not a bunch of tacky rich b@#

  • Dallas Chic Tue, Sep 22, 2009, 6:27 PM

    9. Honestly this show does NOT represent the majority of people in Dallas. I was born and raised in Dallas in a middle class home, and I even knew people who were well off that never acted like these women and "girls", especially the one that called her mother stupid...me myself is African American, and my upbringing taught me not to judge, but it also taught me how to speak to my parents and elders, and even though a lot of people don't believe in spankings, but my parents did and my mouth would have been slapped into the week....being rich does not entitle you to be rude and tacky....

  • Chris Tue, Sep 22, 2009, 10:27 PM

    10. All I can say, if you made a show about how terrible a state our country is in right now, nobody would watch it. That's called the news. One of the girls on the show... she is just like any other person in the crowd, you wouldn't know she is on a show if she didn't say anything. She doesn't stand out like a sore thumb. While I agree with the talking to the parents like that, not all of the girls are like that.

  • Dallas Non-Diva Wed, Sep 23, 2009, 3:58 PM

    11. I know two of the girls on the show, and they aren't really that diva-ish, but like Chris said, they seem to fit in pretty well among all of the other people who are almost that rich, or aren't.

  • Dallasite Sun, Sep 27, 2009, 12:46 PM

    12. I do understand why this show is inappropriate for the current situation this country's in, and it's very off-putting to see young spoiled girls disrespecting their mothers, and women spending irresponsibly, and I do agree that money does not give you class, but what it all boils down to is that it's entertaining. You escape from the news and the realities of the economy, and just feast on this guilty pleasure! I highly doubt that the tv network condones any of this behavior, but they sensationalize because it is so scandalous and shocking to the rest of us who don't live like that. It's fascinating to watch, or criticize, or laugh at, or live through vicariously, whatever you prefer! Can't wait to watch!

  • Tammi Sun, Sep 27, 2009, 2:54 PM

    13. Show looks promising and hope that it is as entertaining as it appears on the slide preview. Jackie looks amazing!!!!!!!

  • Tammi Sun, Sep 27, 2009, 3:04 PM

    14. Well I had to make another comment after reading the others. Entertainment comes in many forms as do opinions. I have friends involved in this show and remember that they do have a real life * this is a fictional TV reality show. Everyone sometime in their life would like to be bad or bold and this is a comedy type hype on that feeling. Loosen up and gasp at the upcoming episodes, ENJOY!!!HEY HEY HEY PATTY!!!!

  • Bee Chanel Mon, Sep 28, 2009, 11:13 AM

    15. Well my, my,...my. Here's what I have to say about all the previous comments, watch and enjoy, or...here it comes, now wait for it, wait for it.....CHANGE YOUR CHANNEL! As for me, I shall enjoy!!! With regard to the economy, this little section of Texas IS different, and that's precisely why they are doing a show about it, rather than in your neighborHOOD, or otherwise. Tune in and enjoy, or turn off. I would tune in and maybe learn a few things about fashion, secret places to shop, and otherwise! These women are proud Texas women that are just as "real" as ever and they put on their Manola's one shoe at a time, just like you! They're just more fun to watch,...so tune in! We are all addicted to our nutty little reality shows,...who knows, there might even be a table flip (i.e. Bravo's Jersey Housewives!), and if so, let the fur and the Jimmy Choo's fly! "What one has not experienced, one will never understand in print"~*Isadora Duncan. Apparently, the same applies to what one sees!

  • JV Mon, Sep 28, 2009, 10:33 PM

    16. Wow! All I can say is "Let your haters be your motivators!" Bee and Tammi good comments. I love that you said that the economy is not affecting that neighborhood, cuz your so right. Its a blessing to be part of the North Texas bubble that we call home. It is so retarded that people take the time to right negative comments in the first place. Maybe instead of wasting time writing stupid stuff they should use their time more wisely and get a job so they can one day become a diva. Honestly its a reality show, no matter who the person is the drama is always going to more intense in front of a camera. The lights and camera are like viagra for drama. Yes this is real but don't judge the girls. .seriously if you were a teenager you don't think you would act out at least an ounce more while being filmed. Anyway I am just happy Dallas has its own show no matter how much it hurts that Bravo didn't get them first. I hope the show goes well. Not like that ghetto Kentucky show on A

  • Bee Chanel Tue, Sep 29, 2009, 10:55 AM

    17. Thanks JV~! Couldn't agree more! It is a bubble I call home as well~ * It IS a shame STYLE picked it up before BRAVO....there is SO MUCH MORE drama to film in Big D......why it is SO different than any other place on EARTH, guess that's why nothings been done since DALLAS, which was also another time, another place, and held a HUGE audience. We really don't "need" a show, but we're awfully glad they came! * Kisses, B Chanel (p.s. I guess you've figured out my pun name with Bee Chanel....can't use my real name, let's just say, I'm well known)....(smile).

  • LM Tue, Sep 29, 2009, 11:54 PM

    18. I live in Highland Park and while yes, some of the events and things shown on this show are true in many aspects, I wouldn't be so quick to judge and make a generalization about all people that live in the Park Cities. There are many extremely wealthy people that live in the Park Cities, and at the same time feel no need to flaunt their money * they would rather live humble and modest lives. Not every girl walks around in Christian Louboutin shoes, Tom Ford sunglasses and drives a white X5, although some do. I mean I guess I am being somewhat hypocritical in saying all these things since some of these things apply to me too..All I am saying is that after watching the show no one should take what they see and think that all the girls, as well as mothers, act like this because it is simply not true. I know girls that have probably more money than all of these families combined and still don't feel the need to show off these luxuries as if it is some status symbol. Keep an open mind.

  • mike oneil Wed, Sep 30, 2009, 6:07 AM

    19. this is all B.S. the whole thing is staged.America does not need another staged reality show. those women did not buy the firs they show and they dont normaly dress in those clothes. In fact the show is so fake the women live in Plano not dallas. It is fake and a lie.We are tired of the B.S. put on our T.V. and this is a misrepresentation of the women in dallas or Plano for that matter.

  • lisa stevens Wed, Sep 30, 2009, 6:14 AM

    20. I think that this is disgusting that there are people out there that cant pay bills due to the decisions that people with money make that got this country in this mess in the first place.plastering a fake lifestyle on T.V. and shoving it in our faces when unemployment is high and people cant pay bills or find jobs is just unamerican. But the producers probably arent either or they would produce something of quality that is real not fake.

  • annie mae Wed, Sep 30, 2009, 7:18 AM

    21. thats just what we need right now with this economy, rich people showing us how they spend what we dont have.they should be ashamed of themselves and remember God is watching and he could change things because of pride, remember what happened to Satan-lighting fast he was cast out

  • dallas native Wed, Sep 30, 2009, 9:25 AM

    22. being a Diva means nothing more then there is a sense of entitlement. It does not mean you are rich.

  • Reid James Wed, Sep 30, 2009, 1:42 PM

    23. I met Pam and Hannah 2 days ago and they were two of the NICEST girls I have ever met. I think this show is a positive change for society. Instead of ALWAYS looking at the fact that we are in this recession. Be more positive I am a 17 year old who has my own life with NO SUPPORT and I live in a VERY NICE part of North Dallas. Quit ******** and get a better job, Sorry if you already missed the boat and are too old to turn things around for yourself. OR *** just change the channel. I am going to LOVE this show.

  • Sam Choo Wed, Sep 30, 2009, 10:48 PM

    24. You all know you would love to live the lives they have. If you had millions you would spend it how you want. Instead of worring about how others spend thier money worry about getting a better job, and HAVING that much money. Pam and hannah were customers of mine at the Galleria, and were extremely polite. Their sale boosted my average AND THE ECONOMY. Quit judging!!

  • Jenny Appleton Thu, Oct 1, 2009, 9:04 AM

    25. I cant wait for its premier!Jenny Leigh Photographywww,jennyleighphotography.comhttp://jennyleighphotography.bigfolioblog.com/214.604.2344

  • Hmmm Thu, Oct 1, 2009, 10:47 PM

    26. description of show says these mothers and daughters are "on top of the Dallas social scene..." HAHAHA! what d-list social scene did the Style Network scout to find these people?

  • Josh Sat, Oct 3, 2009, 11:53 AM

    27. This obsession with money and glamor is why American students rank the lowest in the world.

  • Joshua Sat, Oct 3, 2009, 1:35 PM

    28. Bunch of skanks. Dont need to see the show to figure this out. Putting them on TV will only make it worse. They should be dumped off in Bushwick, NY... That would be a good show. Picked clean in seconds. A dose of reality.

  • Pearls Sat, Oct 3, 2009, 8:22 PM

    29. WOW. First of all I have to say that I just love that 'JV' calls people retarded for 'righting' negative comments. FYI, it's 'writing'. Stick around JV, you're definitely one of the people I'll be calling out in this post. Here's the thing, this show will probably be entertaining. It looks like a bunch of drama-queen airheads spending all the money their husbands make. I know LOTS of park city ladies and lets be realistic here, I'm sure they do love their little bubble, their fancy cars and name brand shoes. But its not their 'hard work' that got them to where they are. More often then not they married up! I love that the entitled divas here that didn't do a THING to contribute financially to their family encourage people to "go out and get a better job or work harder. * Get real people!!! These ladies don't fool anyone... Money can buy a lot of material things but it doesn't buy class.

  • Dallas Sun, Oct 4, 2009, 7:40 AM

    30. I lived in Part Cities for 2 yrs fresh from Miami. Yes it is true this is how these women act. I will say not all in Park Cities act like this but most do. My child was 5 and even at her age the kids are that snotty. I do think that these women act and judge people like this to hide their own problems, and ladies that live there that are reading this you know what I am talking about and don't EVEN try to deny it. I have since moved to Frisco with the same money but a better class of people. I laugh when I go back to that part of Dallas at how ridiculous these women are. It is very entertaining to watch someone be so shallow but at the same time you just laugh at them and know how miserable and simple their lives really are. SO..to the ladies who will get mad at my post you should just pop another one of your pills from your cabinet, drink your 11am glass of wine, get the nanny to take your kids again and call your plastic surgeon to complain!

  • Lets Get Real Sun, Oct 4, 2009, 8:53 AM

    31. Why in the BLANK do they show they shows about Rich people and making them more RICH??? Who gives a **** about these people, come down to the REAL world!!!! So many people are losing their jobs, trying to figure out ways to pay their bill and/or from losing their home....and they kept coming up with these shows....HELLO!!!!! Spoiled Rich kids make me sick and so do these Rich people who spend money. Even the Kardashian family makes me sick!!!!!! Trust me, I don't hate...I'm just sick of seeing these people make more money and showing it off, etc and here we have many...many people losing their jobs!!!!

  • Tyeshia P. of North Carolina Sun, Oct 4, 2009, 9:27 AM

    32. I find it amusing how Chanel is representing the youth of wealthy African Americans by keeping her hair ungroomed and looking like a pluck chicken but is suppose to be a divas daughter.

  • Real World Sun, Oct 4, 2009, 1:14 PM

    33. Please don't use the word "retarded" (Sept 28th comment). Maybe people aren't wasting their time as you specified, maybe they had a job and lost it because of this so called economy we are being forced to live in. Not everyone was born with a trust fund or a job lying in wait unti they become of age or married for money.I find it very amusing that the peope who have actually worked hard for their money choose to keep such a low profile and are quietly proud of their accomplishments where as those who didn't have to sweat so much seem to not even have a clue. To Pearls and Dallas for your comments on Oct 3 and Oct 4, you nailed it girls!

  • Me. Sun, Oct 4, 2009, 1:22 PM

    34. Enough is enough. I'm tired of untalented, unpleasant people being crammed down our throats all over TV. I don't care if some of the people aren't that bad in real life, the point is that they are in a 'reality' show that props up every negative stereotype levelled towards our country as being filled with rich, spoiled, ill-mannered people. Unfortunately, once these people become glorified for their misbehavior they begin thinking that they're some sort of positive role models for everyone else. RIDICULOUS! I want every Dallas Diva, Kardashian, Jon, Kate, Real Housewife (yeah, right) and everyone of their ilk gone from the airwaves. Once that's done, I want the networks to put some real money towards something that requires a greater talent than being able to draw a breath, as opposed to cheap efforts to cater to the lowest common denominator. We deserve better and should demand it.

  • Christina Sun, Oct 4, 2009, 4:32 PM

    35. Okay,,, so first of all.. ALL you girls and mom give dallas a HORRRRRIBLE reputation especially the Plano ******** I graduated from West 6 years ago and let me tell yall, yall are losers. U have money, cool, why do u go to West. Go to a private school or something. This show is stupid and style network has serious issues for letting yall have this show. O wait, nvm someone told me yalls daddys paid for yall to have this show.

  • Dee Sun, Oct 4, 2009, 5:08 PM

    36. Ok, here's the thing Chanel. I'm going to go out on a limb here and assume Dallas has a wealth (no pun intended) of great stylists and salons. How can you claim to be a part of the elite Dallas society, and run around with your hair looking like you just climbed out of bed?? Seriously, if there's a Dallas stylist reading this, please offer your services to Chanel! I can't stand it another minute!

  • Rodigga06 Sun, Oct 4, 2009, 5:10 PM

    37. I just don't understand!!!! What is up with Chanel's hair? If you have **** to spend, u should invest in your look. Relaxer, lace front, sew in, do somethin'. Send me a shout you can fly me in and I'll do it for you. I need to get away from my own kids!

  • Lorena Sun, Oct 4, 2009, 5:25 PM

    38. This show is ridiculous. I am originally from Dallas and I left because of people like that. I am disappointed that you are featuring women who have no grasp on what is important in life. Those who are in the position to have a large influence on people should use that power to promote images of real intelligent women.

  • Lorena Sun, Oct 4, 2009, 5:29 PM

    39. And-kudos to the comment about the girl Chanel using the "r" word. Show some better editing, higher thinking and respect and don't allow some stupid girl to ignorantly insult those who have Down Syndrome.

  • Carly Sun, Oct 4, 2009, 5:29 PM

    40. Okay, I'm really not trying to go all in on Chanel but seriously!!! You have the nerve to ask for a darn Range Rover but you can't even take care of your nappy hair. I am too ashamed for this poor child! Kenya you have money and you let your child run around with that chicken head? Chanel I will pay for you to get your hair fix so you never appear on national tv again looking like the mess you are!!!

  • Sally Sun, Oct 4, 2009, 5:31 PM

    41. I agree with Rodigga. Someone please tell Chanel to do her hair. It makes no sense to have all that money and look awful!!! As comfortable as they are living she should be able to get her hair done everyday. I actually blame her mother, because her mother looks great, hair gone and all, so why is she not making sure her child is on point.

  • Alejandra Sun, Oct 4, 2009, 5:32 PM

    42. PAM!! Don't start talking about people in Mexico City or Monterrey, Mexico!!! Have you ever been to Mexico City?!?! They some super wealthy people as well with way more class than YOU!! Get it together and quit talking about people. It's obvious you are very insecure!!! GET A LIFE!

  • Jill Sun, Oct 4, 2009, 5:42 PM

    43. I think it's funny they all agreed to go on a show and let people see how tacky and tasteless they are. They women give a bad name to people with money.

  • shirley16 Sun, Oct 4, 2009, 5:48 PM

    44. Channel should find a hair stylist quick. No outfit is complete if your hair isn't done.Channel hair looks like she needs a perm or something done to it. Her mom hair looks great so why doesn't she have someting done to her daughters hair???????? I know that she can see it's a HOT MESS.......

  • shirley16 Sun, Oct 4, 2009, 5:50 PM

    45. Channel needs a hair stylist fast.........................

  • URLD Sun, Oct 4, 2009, 5:50 PM

    46. Oh my goodness. If you're going to be on tv, please make sure your child's hair is done. Kenya, your daughter's hair looks a mess. It looks like she has damaged hair. As a black woman this is embarrasssing. She needs a hair stylist, preferably someone that specializes in black hair. Hello, you're on the style network.

  • Kelli Sun, Oct 4, 2009, 5:51 PM

    47. OK, let me preface by saying I've lived in Dallas for nearly 25 years. And in all those years, the city has tried to play down its days of the TV show 'Dallas', and now we have THIS program. I could only watch half an hour of this show, it was just too painful! If that's what being rich is like, then NO THANK YOU, ma'am. No manners, little civility, no respect for one's mother/friends...I could go on. I realize that things are played up more on TV, but if this is how the world is viewing Dallas, wow....it's downright embarrassing. The sad thing is that I think this really is how people who don't live in Dallas, view Dallas: all big hair, money to throw around, shopping, expensive cars, fancy clothes, etc. Highland Park is a very small enclave of Dallas * wealthy, yes * but it definitely doesn't show the the real Dallas AT ALL. Sure hope these women are not nearly as big of divas IRL as they are on this show!

  • rocio Sun, Oct 4, 2009, 5:59 PM

    48. I agree with shirley16. Why oh why would you let Channel hair look like that on national tv. I am embarrassed for her. Of all the hair styles out there and you guys have the only african american girl looking ridiculous. Her mom needs to be ashamed. They appear to be well off. So, why would her hair look like that.

  • Leann Sun, Oct 4, 2009, 5:59 PM

    49. I just watched the first Dallas Divas show and FINALLY!, a woman after my own heart. I am from Nashville, Tennessee and have lived in the South most of my life. Pam is absolutely right. It is EXTREMELY discorteous, disrespectful and selfish to arrive at any event more than 15 minutes late, unless the host(ess) has been notified prior to the event. If you are a southern woman, or in fact, any woman with couth, you know this. I certainly understand that women like Patti may need a more extensive amount of time for make-up application, but one should plan ahead for this. Pam is cool. She knows about grace, charm and social acceptabliity. If women like us don't speak up, this will be a lost art. I have been both with money and without. Money does not buy class, couth nor intelligence, but you can have it with or without it. It's a choice. Go Pam! Sans future invites for Patti.

  • akalady05 Sun, Oct 4, 2009, 6:01 PM

    50. Wow I'm so disappointed in the outcome of the show * Although it is interesting and I'm sure will be a hit. The down right rascist comments made by Pam regrading Patty and Jacky was so classless. And isn't mexico south of Texas so they are true southerns LOL * And Pam constantly talks about how much class she has. Well who named her the class police because she owes herself a ticket. I love Cindy and Courtney they are great. But poor hannah her mom is like the worst drill sergeant and she doesnt seem to like her own daughter constantly talking about her. And Chanel OMG please it's ok to have short hair but get it done PLEASE. You dont have the hair like the rest of girls you need to get a comb and a brush and a great stylist. hOW CAN her mom let her out with her looking that way. it's embarassing.
