Penélope Cruz is an effortless beauty. But her styling was a little too, well, effortless for Alexander McQueen's houndstooth dress.
The British designer's fall collection was heavily influenced by the extreme tailoring of Christian Dior's New Look. Dita Von Teese's T-strap Louboutins and signature retro hair and makeup—not to mention her pinup-girl bod—better enhanced the mid-20th-century feel of the dress.
Penélope's sunglasses just ruined the neckline.
