TREND: Foliage-inspired fashion
WHO'S WEARING IT: Nicole Richie, Joss Stone and Kerry Washington
HOW TO WEAR IT: Fall is the perfect time to branch out with an homage to the lovely leaf. Frond-shaped earrings are a really easy way to incorporate this perennial earthy trend into your everyday look. If you're shopping for a leaf-printed dress, we suggest you opt for one with seasonally appropriate long sleeves. The stars in sunny SoCal might be comfortable with bare arms in autumn, but not everyone can be so lucky. Brrr!

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are designing a high-end jewelry collection with Asprey based on the snake.
Remember in 2006 when Samuel L. Jackson had enough with the (bleep!)ing snakes on the (bleep!)ing plane? Well, we're starting to feel same way about reptile jewelry.
Just about every celeb has tried out Cleopatra-chic accessorizing over the years: Nicole Richie, Dita von Teese and Sandra Bullock rocked reptile bracelets; Keira Knightley had a gold creature slither up her arm; and Madonna, Amanda Bynes and Mary-Kate Olsen displayed snakes on their necks. In fact, MK and her sis Ashley launched an entire line of Elizabeth & James snake jewelry.
So why is Brangelina just now hopping on the trend?
Well, when Angie was preggers with Shiloh, she was given a snake ring that she considered a protector of the Jolie-Pitt clan. Thus, the Asprey collection is appropriately named "The Protector."
OK, so it's not the most original concept, but in their typical philanthropic fashion, Hollywood's most beautiful couple is donating all net proceeds of the collection to Education Partnership for Children of Conflict.
In other jewelry news, the Kardashians are launching a jewelry line, too! Keep reading for a sneak peek.

Is there such a thing as eco-friendly jewelry that isn't made out of wood or straw or something?
—Eileen, via the Ask Style inbox
Yes! In fact, it's even possible to get, you know, real jewelry—metal stuff that shines—and to feel good about the earth at the same time.

No, Lady Gaga did not dress as a Marc Jacobs model risen from the dead for Halloween. This is actually what the singer wore to accept her Stylemaker award at the Accessories Council Excellence (ACE) Awards.
So what's the message? Throw on the craziest things you can find and you'll be rewarded for it? Apparently.
But Lady Gaga is starting to bore us with her in-your-face getups. She made underwear as outwear so popular that it became a major spring trend on the runways. The only difference between the Marc Jacobs lingerie she wore on last night's carpet and the look shown on the catwalk was the explosion of talcum powder.
Then there's the extreme afro, another one of Jacob's eccentricities from spring fashion week. Remember the Louis Vuitton show? The Erickson Beamon lace face is also very LV, circa 2008.
Basically, the only part of Gaga's outfit we did like were those John Galliano colored pearl heels.
Maybe next time she'll wear a simple, ladylike dress with understated jewelry and shock us all.

Pavina's stylish handbag holders are an absolute must-have. The Swarovski-crystal-encrusted pieces were designed to hook onto any table and hold up your purse (up to 25 pounds). No more placing your bag on the unsanitary floor or hanging it on your chair for just anyone to snatch up. Tote-al genius!
The adorable accessories, which are shipped with a metallic pouch and gift box, run between $45 and $60. However, mystyle users can save 20 percent on the entire collection from now through Nov. 30.

The minute I walked into Sanrio's Hello Kitty 35th Anniversary Party at Royal/T in I thought, wow, queen of kitty bling Kimora Lee Simmons would love this. Sure enough, Miss Fabulous herself was inside with daughters Ming and Aoki taking pictures wearing red Hello Kitty bows.
Fellow Hello Kitty lover Paris Hilton was happy to show of her kitty jewels, including these Tarina Tarantino earrings ($88)—but surprisingly, the heiress was one of the tamest attendees at the bash.
The 10,000-square-foot space in Culver City was full of artists' interpretations of Hello Kitty on the walls, ranging from traditional canvases to photographs of kitty-fied Lady Gaga. There were displays of Hello Kitty jewelry and fashion, including the bustier Katy Perry wore earlier this year. But my favorite part of the event was people-watching. The tutu-clad, wigged-out, bedazzled guests would make even Gwen Stefani's harajuku girls proud.

The fashion world says peace to Kanye West, but is all ears to hearing about Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen's sunglasses line.
The Louis Vuitton Don has been building up hype about his fashion line, Pastelle, for years. The singer even showed off the Pastelle logo as he accepted his American Music Award for Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop Artist last year. But after the recent Taylor Swift MTV drama, Kanye received zero noms for the AMAs, Lady Gaga canceled their joint tour and his beloved fashion label is officially over. Karma's a bitch.
Meanwhile, the Olsens just keep forging ahead in fashion. The twins announced that they're coming out with a collection of shades this spring for their luxury label, The Row. The accessories are on the pricey side, retailing from $325 to $390—but almost everything that petite Olsen hands touch turns to gold.
Keep reading to see pics of Ashley and MK wearing versions of the four different styles they're creating…
