At last night's GQ Men of the Year Party, Jessica Stroup and Amanda Seyfried showed off their legs in itty-bitty shorts.
Granted, it's still relatively warm in Hollywood but it is almost Thanksgiving. Are shorts really appropriate?
When you look as good as the 90210 star, the answer is yes. The lace on her Amber Valletta for Monrow metallic shorts gave the summery item a more winter feel—and the tailored jacket and booties ensured she didn't look totally bare.
But Amanda's crochet top made us shiver.

In true twin fashion, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen carried matching Hermès Kelly bags to last night's MoMA Film Benefit honoring Tim Burton.
Their purses are classic. And the whole "I went digging through Grandma's closet" look is such an Olsen signature that it no longer shocks us. But from the neck up, the girls were just as eccentric as the Sweeney Todd director.
MK's dark lips and black hat were nothing compared to her sister's hair. Just check out Ashley's pastel streaks! And we always thought she was the classier of the two.
Who do you think picked a better outfit for the iconic purse? Vote in mystyle's Style Showdown gallery—then keep clicking to see how Ashley wore that fab leopard coat first!

We get it. Leighton Meester does not want to look like Blair Waldorf. And that's fine. She doesn't have to wear the Gossip Girl headbands and blazers that made her a household name.
But co-star Taylor Momsen is already the Goth Glam queen—on and off-screen.
Still, Leighton keeps trying to steal the crown.
Yesterday, she hit an all time low at the American Eagle Outfitters flagship store launch in New York City. The pale skin and purple raccoon eyes scream "I want to be a vampire!" If it wasn't for the bright lip, the actress would have looked like a leather-bound corpse.
But her red carpet style was nothing compared to what she wore for her four-song performance inside the event…

Ever since we saw the exposed-bra look on Miu Miu's fall runway, we've been wondering which celeb would be daring enough to try it.
We should have known it would be Chloë Sevigny.
At Prada's book-launch party over the weekend, the fearless fashionista attempted the underwear-as-outwear trend…but failed miserably. If you're going to show off your bra in public, cleavage is a big no-no.
Still, we don't recommend the trend even if you're flat-chested like Zoe Saldana, who also took a stab at the same event. This is one look that should stay on the runway.
Or do you think Chloë pulled it off?

Last night, Jennifer Morrison danced around the question of what was happening to her character, Allison Cameron, on House.
But if her fashion is any indicator, it looks like the actress will be a Trekker for life.
Between the sharp shoulders and black boots, Jennifer looked more like she was boarding a space ship than attending the Star Trek DVD/Blu-ray premiere party. In the flick, she plays Captain Kirk's mom, Winona, so perhaps she's trying to keep up with Starship style to get cast in the sequel.
Other celebrities know how to take a break from their onscreen fashion. Decide whether you like their personal style better than their acting garb in mystyle's Real Life/On Set gallery!

After camping out for days in Westwood, Twilight fans finally got to scream over their fave stars at last night's New Moon Los Angeles premiere. This morning, we screamed in delight over how gorgeous Kristen Stewart looked!
After her whirlwind European tour, we were nervous about what K-Stew would wear. But her Oscar de la Renta gown was the perfect mix of elegance and a little edge. Still, she had some stiff competition in the best dressed category.
Vote below on your favorite look, then head over to our Style Shout-Out gallery to see who we chose!

As L.A.'s Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) celebrated its 30th anniversary, Kate Beckinsale marked yet another victory on the red, or rather, pink carpet.
Between her dark, smoky makeup and the teal color of the Andrew Gn gown, the actress's eyes were mesmerizing. And it literally looked as if the designer had draped the dress on her perfectly toned body minutes before she arrived at the event. The statement diamond earrings and simple updo were the perfect styling finishes.
While Kate clearly won best dressed at the gala, there were quite a few runners-up. Click below for more winning looks in mystyle's Style Shout-Out gallery.

Bangs can beautifully frame a face, highlighting a woman's sparkling eyes or chiseled cheekbones.
But fringe isn't for everyone.
Case in point: Hayden Panettiere, who recently showed off a new cropped 'do at The Whaleman Foundation Benefit.
Instead of framing her feminine features, the bangs and severe middle part had a witching effect on the Heroes star—making her nose look bigger and chin pointier. Hayden's heart-shaped face is much better suited to soft, sideswept layers.
Or do you prefer her new hairstyle?
Sound off in the poll below, and then head over to mystyle's Baby Got Bang! gallery to vote haute or not on more fringed stars!

We usually chastise Miley Cyrus for showing too much leg. Teen icons just shouldn't dress like this…or do this. But here is one instance when Miley gets our praises for shortening her hemline.
Miley owned Hervé Léger's dress at the London premiere of Hannah Montana back in April. The dress owned Monica Cruz at a Mango launch party this week in Madrid.
With such a bold shoulder and elaborate beading, a knee length was just too much fabric for Penélope's sister to handle. And the Christian Louboutin peep-toes were pretty but predictable. Miley's gunmetal pumps creatively completed her edgy high-fashion look.
Who do you think rocked the embellished dress best? Vote now in our Style Showdown gallery!

Clearly, Lauren Conrad didn't tune in to the Glamour Women of The Year Awards when Stella McCartney got onstage in a purple mini and said, "Ladies up there, never wear a skirt this short!"
At Maxim and Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed 2 launch party, the reality star went even shorter than the designer did. In fact, it almost looked like she was wearing a top without pants! It's too bad, too, because that Ashish sequined boyfriend blazer is killer.
See who else committed this cardinal fashion sin in mystyle's Don't Try These Trends at Home gallery!

We're starting to feel bad for any aspiring female country singers. How on earth will they live up to the perfection that is Taylor Swift?
The 19-year-old was the most stylish country star at last night's CMA Awards. The gold Reem Acra gown, combined with loose blond curls, made her look like a princess with the Midas touch.
Instead of nabbing a prince, Taylor took home four CMA Awards and became the youngest musician to win Entertainer of the Year, an award that hasn't been given to a female artist since Shania Twain won in 1999!

90210's Jessica Stroup and Ugly Betty's Becki Newton both looked stunning in a sea of blue, but one of them spent a boatload more on her bright frock.

Call it the Rihanna effect. For December, bubbly Kate Hudson tries living on the edge for Elle UK and sweet Natalie Portman mimics Cameron Diaz's fierce V cover right down to the suggestive open mouth. Then there's classy Nicole Kidman looking like—and talking about—sex in British GQ.
The most ironic part is that real-life edgy actress Kristen Stewart has transformed into a sensual, high-fashion glam goddess for Harper's Bazaar.
Or is it that ironic?
Nicole and Kate are currently promoting their upcoming burlesque musical, Nine, which explains this and this. Natalie wants to be taken seriously, so her girlie-girl image just doesn't cut it. And as much of a tomboy as Kristen tries to be in her own life, she's a soft beauty in Twilight, and New Moon is just around the corner. So let's skip Kate, Nicole and Natalie this time around and just enjoy the stunning editorial the normally grungy Kristen did with Robert Pattinson…

What a difference 365 days make. At last year's MTV Europe Music Awards, Katy Perry hit the carpet in an eye-catching (literally!) Jean Paul Gaultier design. Sure, quirkiness is commendable, but you want people to look at your face, not the face on your dress.
This year, the singer got it right in a nude creation straight off Jenny Packham's spring runway. The feathered skirt was festively fun, and the nude color guaranteed the focus was on Katy's bright eyes and glossy lips. And instead of an expected peep-toe, Katy flaunted her girlie style with a metallic version of the Louis Vuitton ballet-inspired heels Leighton Meester debuted at this year's Met Gala.

As much as we love Mariah Carey, she isn't exactly what we'd call an elegant dresser. Kate Winslet, on the other hand, is the epitome of refined glamour, with hit after hit on the red carpet. So imagine our surprise when Mimi not only showed up to last night's Precious premiere in the same Zac Posen gown Kate wore to the BAFTAs, but she also managed to look just as classy as the actress!
This is a difficult showdown to judge. On the one hand, Kate wins for wearing it first—and her red lips and updo only added to the Old Hollywood style of the mermaid dress. On the other hand, we expect this perfection from the Oscar winner.
Since both of their bodies look equally slamming, we're going to have to give this one to Mariah for stepping outside her revealing comfort zone.
Do you agree? Vote on which star you think styled Posen's curve-hugging creation better in mystyle's Style Showdown gallery. Plus, find out who else wore seconds at the Precious premiere!
