True Blood star Anna Paquin gave us a peek at her personal style during LA Dogworks and Good Dog Animal Rescue's "A Night of Emotion"...
What She's Stylin': I think the dress is Tracy Reese. The tag is no longer inside. It's been in my closet forever. I like it! My shoes are by Jimmy Choo.
Fashion Philosophy: I mostly wear jeans, T-shirts, summer dresses, shorts and sandals. If I'm going out, I like to dress up.
Genius in a Bottle: I just started using Moroccan Oil's shampoo and conditioner. It's great for girls who dye their hair blond, like me. It actually makes your hair not look like it got sucked down a drain and then slapped on your head. It's nice!
Color Crave: I like a lot of black. The teenage goth girl in me is still peeking out every once in a while, but I'm branching out. I'm wearing navy blue tonight.

We caught up with Dania Ramirez at Backstage Creation's Celebrity Retreat at the ALMA Awards to talk fashion…
What She's Stylin': I chose this yellow Pamella Roland dress because I love the color against my skin and I wanted something flowy, really classy and chiffon. I kept it youthful with Neil Lane jewelry.
Must-Have Beauty Product: I love the new LashBlast mascara from CoverGirl. I have it on right now. It lasts all day, it's easy and I love the packaging. You can go from day to night with it. It's so small that you can just toss it in your bag and reapply if you need to.
Guilty Pleasure: I'm a chocolate lover. My absolute favorite is Patchi chocolates. I tried the dark chocolate with the hazelnut cream inside, and oh my god!
Fall Fashion Fave: I can't wait to wear open-toe booties when it gets colder. They are so stylish!

Vanessa Carlton gave us a peek at her personal style during Donate Life's summer concert series at The Americana at Brand...
Fashion Philosophy: Most of the time I wear all black with charms around my neck. I'm not very flamboyant. However, everything I consider for stage has to have some element of drama.
Fave Vintage Find: I love my black YSL tuxedo jacket from the early '80s. The shoulders are geometric. There's black velvet paneling on the sides. Really just stunning! It's from Exquisite Costume in New York.
Beauty Secrets: Dr. Hauschka's Rose Day Cream is the best thing ever! I also put ice cubes around my eyes after I wash my face to close up my pores and reduce all the puffiness.
Tote-tally Devoted: The idea of the It bag is absurd to me. I simply carry my Coach messenger satchel from 1980. It was my mother's bag. The quality of the leather is fantastic. The buckles are very equestrian. It worked back then and it works now.

For blogger DWJ, Saks Fifth Avenue is an inspirational museum. So when she had to develop a Website as part of her master's degree at George Washington University, she turned her fascination with shoes, handbags, jewelry and makeup into The Art of Accessories. "It was my way of merging everything I love in one place," she recalls. "Plus, people always ask me for advice, so it was a nice way to give suggestions."
These days, you'll find DWJ working for a trade association in Washington, D.C., from 9 to 5 and the rest of the time blogging about her individual "bold color with a touch of boho" style, custom "shimmering raspberry " lip gloss and weekly Monday manis. Out of all the nail polishes she's tested, she's found Rescue Beauty Lounge Teal to be the most flattering. "Something about that inky blue-green color seems to look good from the fair skin to the brownest girl," she explains.
And when it comes to color, DWJ insists that there is a color within a color family for everyone. "Think yellow might not work for you? Try a soft pale yellow instead of neon," she suggests. "Instead of purple try lavender."
Keep reading to hear more of the Art of Accessories' secrets—including her fall accessory recommendations and how many Swatch watches she has in her impressive collection!

Guests at last weekend's HollyRod Foundation DesignCare gala were treated to a private Marchesa runway show. We stole a second with the fashion label's cofounder and designer, Georgina Chapman...
What She's Stylin': Marchesa, of course!
Design Inspiration: I was thinking of fairy tales when I designed the fall collection.
Beauty Secret: Vitamin E oil is amazing. If you've been on a long journey, just mix a little bit with any moisturizer, like Nivea. It's fantastic for hydration!
Retail Therapy: Oh my goodness! I sure can splurge on handbags, sunglasses, you name it.
Fashion Philosophy: I go with my mood. I don't like to define myself by any particular style.

During a celebration of country music at the White House earlier this week, the first lady rocked a seemingly shorter 'do. It's now been revealed that Michelle had only pinned up her hair to test out the look. We prefer the way her classic shoulder-length tresses softly frame her face. What do you think? Sound off below!

I rarely get to the beach. There's the drive, the throngs, and oh, did I mention that drive and all the people? This summer, my idea of staycation (beyond spa treatments and theme dinner parties) has been to saunter into my backyard and lounge in the hot tub at the end of the day.
But I'm so excited to poll reaction to the adorable Trunkettes two-piece set my friends at Film Fashion sent over, I'm rethinking my economical staycation choice.
Here's why the Trunkettes line is tops…

I'm going on an island getaway. What clothing, shoes, accessories and beauty products should I pack?
—Cecilia, New Windsor, N.Y.
Let's assume that you're not going on a Costa Rica turtle-spying-type trek and are instead heading for the cabin of a little yacht for a sail around the Leeward Islands. Fair enough. First of all, pack light. Unless you're making the formal European jet-set rounds and need a few ball gowns, you should be able to fit everything into one reasonably sized roll-a-bag. Yes, really.
Your essentials include:

We were surprised to hear that Vanessa Minnillo is no longer dating her beau of three years, Nick Lachey, especially since the brunette babe has a reputation of being so low maintenance—a stark contrast from Nick's ex-wife, Jessica Simpson.
She even showed up to the Reebok EasyTone launch party in an über-casual thermal-and-jeans combo. "This is definitely my most comfortable state," said the star, who can go from tomboy to girlie girl with ease. "But don't get me wrong, I love to get dolled up!"
To knock 'em dead, she throws on a Tracy Reese dress. "Her pieces are very feminine and sexy," raved the former Miss Teen USA, who likes to pair the designer's frocks with a shimmering pout.
"My makeup artist and I mix gold pigment powder with lip gloss to get great shimmer," she dished. "We call it Vanebu because my name is Vanessa and she says I'm like her little Malibu Barbie."

Is there something I can use to do a quick hem on my clothes?
—Elyssa E., Castro Valley, California
I'm not a fan of quickie homemade seamstressing, but having spent years around top, quick-thinking wardrobe stylists, I can tell you that a little topstick is a big friend. Topstick is showbiz-speak for fashion-friendly double-sided tape. If your garment isn't too heavy—denim may not work as well with topstick as a light linen pant in this case—simply fold up the leg or skirt and use the topstick to create an even hem. If you need a specific brand, try Hollywood Fashion Tape.

Even though she didn't nab an Oscar for her supporting role in Doubt, Viola Davis is a fashion winner to us. Her most stylish moment? The one-shouldered David Meister dress she wore to SAG.
"It was my favorite because of the yellow," she dished to mystyle at Melanie Segal's MTV Movie Awards gift lounge. "I'm enjoying color now, because it complements my dark skin tone and makes me feel kind of risqué."
The gown also showed off the actress' ultra-toned upper body perfectly. "I definitely like to keep very fit," she explained. "I hike in my neighborhood in the hills and I do weights in the backyard with my husband. We use the gymnastic ball and the 8- and 10-pound weights."
The first lady had better watch out! She's got serious competition for the Most Enviable Arms title.

Mandy Moore's new album, Amanda Leigh (Buy it here!), may give the world a better glimpse at who she is as an artist, but the singer admits she's "schizophrenic" when it comes to fashion.
"I love the female music mavericks like Stevie Nicks and Joni Mitchell. I have that bohemian hippie in me," the newlywed tells mystyle. "Still, I can change my mind and go in a completely different direction at the drop of a hat."
The multi-talented star recently hung up her hat as designer of her clothing brand Mblem, which some speculated folded due to the bad economy. "I miss the opportunity of being able to create something as an avid shopper and fashion fan. But maybe it'll come back one day."
In the meantime, she supports her friends' denim line Current/Elliot. "I love all of their stuff—the boyfriend jean and the distressed, slouchy jean," she raves. "I'm a California girl, so I like jeans and T-shirts and sandals. Just easy-breezy, put it on and go out the door."

What are the rules when wearing prints? Which print/colors go together?
—Anna L., Cambridge, Massachusetts
There's only one rule: Simplicity. "The key to pulling this trend off is to K.I.S.S.—Keep it Simple, Sexy," stylist Toni Ferrara explains.
If you're worried about your figure, fear not. (Yes, Mary-Kate may be waifish, but Jill Scott isn't, and the prints she wears on No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency are gorgeous.)
"Prints can be worn on all sizes and body types," Ferrara assures. Just remember to always practice balance and proportion.
If you're still intimidated, here are a few more guidelines.

Jennifer Love Hewitt is notorious for wearing less-than-flattering outfits when she's out running errands, but the Ghost Whisperer star more than makes up for it on the red carpet.
The curvy actress looked dazzling at the LG Rumor2 party in a forest green empire-waist Dolce & Gabbana frock that showed off her to-die-for figure.
"I try to be comfortable, but classic," said the Audrey Hepburn fan, who accessorized her gorgeous number with chocolate brown Gucci heels and clutch. "I chose this dress because I figured it would be really fun for the night!"
The brunette beauty, who did her own makeup for the event ("It's L'Oréal"), was kind enough to dish her secret for radiant skin: Elizabeth Arden's Eight Hour Cream. "It's incredible!" she raved.
