Totally Awful '80s: I hated shoulder pads. I used to have to wear them when I was 12 years old for Full House. They were custom-made, which was crazy! No Love for Louboutin: I love all shoes—except the ones with the red bottom. They are very uncomfortable. I've never bought a pair because I can't walk in them.

Hollywood's favorite shoe designer, Christian Louboutin—who designed the hot pink peep-toes for Barbie's Fashion Week debut—is treating the doll to a little plastic surgery for her 50th birthday.

"He found her ankles were too fat," a Louboutin spokeswoman told WWD yesterday, adding that Barbie's revamp would be released just in time for the Cannes Film Festival.

Today, the story is changing. Supposedly Louboutin's peeps are saying it's actually Barbie's arches that aren't fit to wear the French designer's infamous red soles. If you're flat-footed, apparently you're not worthy of paying over $700 for a pair of stilettos.
