All we have to say is, at least Suri Cruise isn't wearing high heels.
Still, $160 for a pair of Petite Maloles flats that she'll grow out of in a few months?
Granted, the adult version of the Maloles ballet shoes, which mom Katie Holmes owns, costs over $300. So in that respect, the pint-size price tag seems reasonable. Normal, even when you look at J.Crew Crewcuts girls' flats, which can set you back $90 for a bow style like Suri's—and that's on sale!
Yet it seems absurd to spend so much when, for $29.50, your little girl can get embellished ballet flats at Gap or glittery sparklers at 77Kids. And for only $4.99, she can be on trend for fall with Old Navy's purple suede skimmers!
To give Suri credit, like a true modern-day fashionista she does mix high-end designers with affordable accessories. Those American Apparel lamé leggings retail for $25—chump change for Hollywood's most stylish tot.

Candace Cameron Bure, bka D.J. Tanner on Full House, gave us a peek at her personal style during Susan G. Komen's Fashion for the Cure Benefit...
What She's Stylin': This Diane von Furstenberg dress is amazing. It fits great. I love the print—it's very subtle. I don't like things that are too flashy.
Fashion Philosophy: I'm a mom of three kids, so I'm in jeans, a T-shirt and flip-flops on a daily basis. I try to be stylish, but I'd say I'm pretty casual. I do like to throw on some trendy pieces, but stay classic overall.
Totally Awful '80s: I hated shoulder pads. I used to have to wear them when I was 12 years old for Full House. They were custom-made, which was crazy! I recently bought a Marc Jacobs sweater that had a little bit of a shoulder pad and I was like, "Should I do this?" But it was military style and it worked, so I did it.
No Love for Louboutin: I love all shoes—except the ones with the red bottom. They are very uncomfortable. I've never bought a pair because I can't walk in them.

Move over, Tory Burch. There's a new, cheaper and way cooler ballet flat in town! Lindsay Phillips' line of genuine Napa leather shoes ($64) come in black, bronze and silver and are adorned with a matching flower that can be—wait for it—swapped out for another adorable embellishment. Pretty amazing, right?! There are a dozen accents ($12) to choose from, including multigem medallions and charming blossoms—all of which easily snap into place.
I am obsessed! It's fun changing out the doodad to suit my mood or complement my outfit. The revolutionary design truly makes it seem like you own multiple pairs of chic ballet flats. Perfect for this frugalista! But as much as I love the unbelievably comfy footwear, there is a downside to having a removable shoe part.

Last night, Kelly Osbourne checked into the emergency room at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center after a taping of Dancing With the Stars. Apparently, the buckle of her shoe slammed into her foot at the end of her paso doble routine. Ouch! So that you don't experience a similar injury, we rounded up some of our best tips for teetering around in stilettos. Be careful out there!

French women don't get fat, but apparently American dolls do.
Hollywood's favorite shoe designer, Christian Louboutin—who designed the hot pink peep-toes for Barbie's Fashion Week debut—is treating the doll to a little plastic surgery for her 50th birthday.
"He found her ankles were too fat," a Louboutin spokeswoman told WWD yesterday, adding that Barbie's revamp would be released just in time for the Cannes Film Festival.
Today, the story is changing. Supposedly Louboutin's peeps are saying it's actually Barbie's arches that aren't fit to wear the French designer's infamous red soles. If you're flat-footed, apparently you're not worthy of paying over $700 for a pair of stilettos.
But if obese Barbie had perfect arches, could she wear the overpriced shoes? If Karl Lagerfeld has anything to do with it, the answer is N-O…

I want to try the over-the-knee boots trend without looking trashy. Any tips?
—Sara W., East Windsor, Conn.
There's no question that over-the-knee boots have a bad rep because of their association with streetwalkers and showgirls. But it's high time to dismiss all that, because if there's one trend to try this season, it's over-the-knee boots. Here are some tips and tricks to get a leg up on fall's hottest footwear fetish the right way.

Seeing stars on the red carpet in gorgeous gowns is great and all, but as the leaves begin to change, we want to see outfits we can actually wear. That's why we're loving Rachel Bilson's blazer and boots combo. It's casual yet still sophisticated and stylish, perfect for any daytime activity this season. Here's how to get it for less:
Fred Flare's boyfriend blazer ($64) is more casual than black yet still goes with everything in your closet. Plus, gray is one of fall's hottest colors.
Forever 21's skinny jeans ($19.80) have enough stretch that if you gain a pound or two over the holidays, it shouldn't matter. Plus, they're so affordable!

We're not saying you would ever want to take a walk in a stage mom's shoes. But should the thought have ever crossed your mind, you can, starting Mother's Day.
Dina Lohan is launching a shoe line with LoveMyShoes.com called "Shoe-Han." There's no word on what exactly the collection will look like, but judging by the footwear Lindsay's mom usually wears, we're guessing high heels and platforms.
Speaking of Lindsay, you gotta feel bad for the girl. Her pasties and party dresses for Emanuel Ungaro were a disaster, and instead of having a mama's shoulder to cry on, she gets a parent who wants the spotlight. Not only is Dina creating a shoe collection with a ridiculous name, she also will be doing radio and TV commercials for the brand.
Dina Lohan didn't even come close to making the cut in our countdown of the 25 most stylish moms. See who did in mystyle's Mommy Chic gallery.
