Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are designing a high-end jewelry collection with Asprey based on the snake.
Remember in 2006 when Samuel L. Jackson had enough with the (bleep!)ing snakes on the (bleep!)ing plane? Well, we're starting to feel same way about reptile jewelry.
Just about every celeb has tried out Cleopatra-chic accessorizing over the years: Nicole Richie, Dita von Teese and Sandra Bullock rocked reptile bracelets; Keira Knightley had a gold creature slither up her arm; and Madonna, Amanda Bynes and Mary-Kate Olsen displayed snakes on their necks. In fact, MK and her sis Ashley launched an entire line of Elizabeth & James snake jewelry.
So why is Brangelina just now hopping on the trend?
Well, when Angie was preggers with Shiloh, she was given a snake ring that she considered a protector of the Jolie-Pitt clan. Thus, the Asprey collection is appropriately named "The Protector."
OK, so it's not the most original concept, but in their typical philanthropic fashion, Hollywood's most beautiful couple is donating all net proceeds of the collection to Education Partnership for Children of Conflict.
In other jewelry news, the Kardashians are launching a jewelry line, too! Keep reading for a sneak peek.

At 11 p.m., Heidi Klum's 10th annual Halloween party presented by MSN and SKYY Vodka was already at capacity. Waiting outside new hot spot Voyeur, I watched Chanel bags, Karl Lagerfelds and more vampires than I could count pass the club on their way to WeHo's famous parade. Finally, the velvet rope opened and I stepped my superhero boots straight to Heidi's table to see if the supermodel outdid her blue deity costume from last year.
On my way to find the new mom, I passed a very cool Rick Fox and Eliza Dushku vampire Bonnie and Clyde and a creative bacon-and-eggs-clad Kelly Osbourne and Luke Worrall. Rachel Zoe was trés chic channeling her inner hippie—OK, not a stretch, but she did look bananas—and TV host Steven 'Cojo' Cojocaru was hilarious as a Khloé Kardashian bride, massive rock and all.
But the prettiest costume at the bash was Paris Hilton's, who did a sexy Swan Lake ballerina while boyfriend Doug Reinhardt hammed it up in a tooth fairy tutu. I actually liked the couple's costumes better than Heidi and Seal's feathered ones. To give Heidi credit, she did just give birth three weeks ago and still managed to throw a Halloween bash rocking thigh-high boots! See what I'm talking about in mystyle's Haute Halloween gallery!

The minute I walked into Sanrio's Hello Kitty 35th Anniversary Party at Royal/T in I thought, wow, queen of kitty bling Kimora Lee Simmons would love this. Sure enough, Miss Fabulous herself was inside with daughters Ming and Aoki taking pictures wearing red Hello Kitty bows.
Fellow Hello Kitty lover Paris Hilton was happy to show of her kitty jewels, including these Tarina Tarantino earrings ($88)—but surprisingly, the heiress was one of the tamest attendees at the bash.
The 10,000-square-foot space in Culver City was full of artists' interpretations of Hello Kitty on the walls, ranging from traditional canvases to photographs of kitty-fied Lady Gaga. There were displays of Hello Kitty jewelry and fashion, including the bustier Katy Perry wore earlier this year. But my favorite part of the event was people-watching. The tutu-clad, wigged-out, bedazzled guests would make even Gwen Stefani's harajuku girls proud.

Last night, I attended the Madison & Diavolina launch party in Los Angeles hosted by Current/Elliott designers Meritt Elliott and Emily Current. It was a chance to do some feel-good shopping (a portion of the evening's sales went to Susan G. Komen for the Cure). But the real reason I stopped by was to see my girl crush Mandy Moore.
The singer showed up wearing a pumpkin-orange Isabel Marant printed dress and black cutout Miu Miu heels. Cute! "I didn't put much thought into it," the California casual fashionista said of her outfit. She did, however, have fall fashion on the brain. "I've got my eye on the fall accessories. I'm a big scarf girl."
After our brief but amazing conversation (she's so sweet!), I thought I would be stalking Mandy's every move. Instead, I found myself marveling at two unexpected style mavens the rest of the night.

Fashion's fat saga continues. If you thought Christian Louboutin's Barbie plastic surgery debacle was bad, you won't believe the latest Ralph Lauren news.
First, the designer Photoshops Filippa Hamilton till she's no more than twigs in plaid. And now, he's fired the 5-foot-10-inch, 120-pound model because "of her inability to meet the obligations under her contract." Translation? Filippa is too fat.
Thankfully, in the clip above of yesterday's Today Show, the 23-year-old beauty declares she's proud of her healthy size 4 body—adding that she thinks the all-American brand owes American women an apology, "a big apology."
Maybe a sorry statement will come. Maybe it won't. But one thing's certain: Ralph Lauren doesn't give an ef about offending Australian women. Just take a look at the latest R.L. ad to surface on the Internet of a window display in Sydney, Australia. It sickly makes even Victoria Beckham look, well, fat.

Poor Kate Gosselin. She sold out her privacy and her children's personal lives, and does she get to enjoy the money that bore? No, because her soon-to-be ex allegedly stole almost all of it out of their joint bank account.
It's all very sad, but the misfortunes of random people in the news have never stopped the fashion community from focusing on what really matters: wardrobe. How Gosselin is supposed to assemble her fall looks on $1,000, well, Jon, that's just mean.
But it can be done. Our five favorite pieces for the fall, all under $200:
1. The dolman cardigan in ever-versatile navy. Black would probably just make Kate even more sad.
2. A calf-high boot in gray. The perfect height for wading through bills.
3. Juicy Couture Fairytale Baby Fluffy handbag. Actually, the handbag is a little busy, but so is Kate. And with a name like that, Kate is bound to love it. And it's on sale.
4. The very accessible genie-style pant being offered by Devon Pant. Because genie pants shouldn't just be for A-listers, or even just B-listers.
5. This squiggly scarf. Didn't know you could get cashmere that inexpensively? You're welcome!

When Becks said adios to those ultra-snug undies, Armani did the only logical thing. They hired another soccer player to fill his, er, briefs. A much younger Cristiano Ronaldo will go shirtless for Armani's underwear and jeans campaign come next summer. We don't know about you, but we just love the whole boy-next-door look. Well done, Armani.

Flashing her nine-carat diamond and rocking an ultra-fitted Alexander Wang dress, Khloé Kardashian showed off her post-wedding physique along side sister Kim at the grand opening of Famous Cupcakes. The two reality starlets often grace the covers of weeklies on weight loss so it was a good thing the cupcakes have no Trans fat!
Not so worried about her weight was...

Having just returned from New York Fashion Week, my expectations weren't too high for the Susan G. Komen Fashion for the Cure Benefit. I was going in order to support breast cancer and 'cause I love Diane von Furstenberg, who was showing her resort collection at the soiree. But the night turned out to be even better than my evenings at Bryant Park.
After guests sipped Hpnotiq cocktails and Jamba Juice, munched on delicious mini cupcakes and bid on a silent auction on the pink carpet, it was time to head inside Smashbox Studios for the runway show. Host of the night, Eliza Dushku, stepped onto the stage, which made me understand why Rick Fox was sitting one row in front of me (the two have been dating for a while now). After a heartwarming speech by the Dollhouse star and the evening's special guests, the runway show began.

At Neutrogena's Fresh Faces of Music event, Vanessa Hudgens and Hayden Panettiere let their glowing skin do the talking in matching nude strapless dresses. The High School Musical star's leather Camilla and Marc wins for us, but we're drooling over Hayden's Sergio Rossi snakeskin peep-toes. If only her dress was hemmed above the knee to better show off the red-hot footwear.

After hours of animal gazing while recently trekking through the San Diego Zoo, I stumbled into the gift shop for some much needed respite from the blistering heat. I was delighted to see that beyond the typical mugs and T-shirts, the store stocked a vast array of beautiful goods from around the world. Spread on a table were multicolored beads fashioned into earrings and necklaces. The beads tell an inspiring story…

We would never expect the Olsen twins to wear the same thing as Lady Gaga. Sure, they were in Japan, aka the land of quirky ensembles. But as we've said before, animal ears are for the runway or the Playboy Mansion. Period. But Mary-Kate clearly can't remember this rule and now she's gotten sister Ashley wearing Maison Michel lace ears as well.
Had it not been for the ears and the dramatic shades, we would have really liked the outfits the sisters wore to Opening Ceremony's reception party. For starters, they switched sides! Yes, that's Ashley on the left. How can you tell? She's still wearing her favorite studded Prada sandals, this time with a Weatherby dress and coat from The Row. MK's textured dress was from a Japanese label. But what we love most about the outfits are those fabulous Prada bags.

When the recession hit, the fashion world told women to shop their closets. But in recent months, it has been all about shopping other people's closets. In the past two weeks alone, I've been invited to three clothing swap parties. Last night, I finally decided to give one a try...

Regional beauty pageants rarely draw an A-list crowd. But Miss Malibu isn't your usual town-and-country show. For starters, it was held at Cher's old house. Yes, as in the Cher. And in keeping with the music theme, Ludacris was one of the judges. Yes, as in Grammy-winning hip-hop artist Ludacris. He joined Elizabeth Röhm, Khloé Kardashian and nine other judges in crowning the new Miss Malibu and Miss Teen Malibu. (Miss California Tami Farrell and Kelsey Grammer's daughter, Greer, won last year.)
For those who didn't get crowned, a few tips from Miss Kardashian…
