Eva Mendes
Style Shout-out

She's still wearing the Dolce & Gabbana headband from her red-hot premiere outfit, but Eva Mendes went in a slightly different direction to promote her new flick, Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans. The peach and black color combo is certainly more subdued than the red animal print, but thanks to the way the dress showed off Eva's famous curves, the actress still oozed her trademark sexuality as she flirtatiously posed for the Italian photogs at the Venice Film Festival. You may not be able to join Eva for a trip down the canal, but with these affordable finds it's a cinch to get her look.

Forever 21 Chiffon Collar Sweater Dress

The belt on Forever 21's chiffon collar dress ($32) shows off your waist while the chiffon bow adds a girlie touch similar to Eva's lace.

Eva Mendes
Style Shout-out

After a brief stay in New York to launch her bedding line, Eva Mendes has returned to Italy to help kick off yet another film festival. This time, it's the Venice International Film Festival, where she attended a premiere for one of Italy's most expensive movies ever: Baarìa, a $36 million epic starring Monica Bellucci.

But aside from the name of the festival and the films, not much else has changed. Eva still has the same golden tan, she still looks absolutely radiant and she still is wearing her favorite designer, Dolce & Gabbana. Although spotted prints are a staple in the designing duo's collections, this red leopard number is a step in a new direction. It fits right in with the colorful animal-print trend we've been seeing all summer. Eva's is one of our favorites yet.

Top Shop Leopard Coat
Style Scene

As much as I enjoy shopping the latest designer Target collection (Erickson Beamon jewelry is eye-poppingly fun, and I'm still rocking a Libertine capelet from two years ago), I love it when you come across a rare find no one else will have. Among my favorites: a multicolored 1960s James Galanos I picked up for a mere $50 at a thrift shop, then later paired with metallic slingbacks the designer himself gave me after I had him inspect the dress.

So I was thrilled, if not somewhat skeptical, when I received a flyer for The Way We Wore's biannual sale. The La Brea Avenue shop is a haven for vintage clothing, accessories and shoes from the Victorian era to the 1980s, and counts Angelina Jolie, Chloë Sevigny and Victoria Beckham as clients. But as much as I love vintage fashion, I'm not altogether comfortable with the idea of splurging on what are, for all intents and purposes, gussied-up hand-me-downs. But 50 percent off is 50 percent off (I do love a steal!), and so off I went.

Scarlett Johansson, Whitney Houston, Madonna

Everyone made a huge deal last week when Whitney Houston and Madonna wore the exact same Dolce & Gabbana dress on the very same night. And now Jordin Sparks has followed in the divas' footsteps and rocked the same leopard number during a performance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. But none of them were the first to wear the satin animal print. Scarlett Johansson squeezed into an even prettier variation of the dress back in March during Milan Fashion Week. So she is the real trendsetter. Shop ScarJo's look for less (including a $34.50 version of the infamous dress) in mystyle's Scarlett Johansson: Shop Her Style! gallery.

Tyra Banks, Julia Louis Dreyfus, Jennifer Lopez
Style Secret

Many people think perfectly coordinated outfits are old-fashioned and stuffy. But with the right color combos and accessories, spring's matchy-matchy trend can look fresh and modern. The key is to coordinate only two items in your outfit so that you don't overdo it. The match-ups can be accessories, like the turquoise sandals and belt Tyra Banks uses to make her purple Black Halo sheath pop. You can also match your dress to your purse, as Julia Louis-Dreyfus did with a Michael Kors sheath and Jimmy Choo clutch. Or you can coordinate your dress with your shoes, as Jennifer Lopez did with her sizzling Andrew Gn mini and d'Orsay pumps. Balance it out with neutrals, then add a glam factor like gold bangles or an animal print purse, and you're good to go. Just whatever you do, please don't take inspiration from the celeb after the jump…

Running in Heels, Talita

Hello, all my dearest friends...

Thank you for tuning in to another episode of Running in Heels. Hopefully my fellow roommates and I kept you on your feet—no pun intended. Okay, I'm boring you already. So sorry.

I know I will get hated on for how the show opens with us discussing what jobs we want, and I jokingly say how I hope I'm not the one working with the divas. At this point, the roommates and I just tried to bring humor into the game because it was a very stressful time for all of us. So, no, I don't think I'm better then anybody else, or wish anybody to be thrown under the bus.

Betsey Johnson Leopard Watch, Sergio Zelcer's T-strap Cheetah Print Flat, Pinup Girl Purse, Leopard Print Scarf

Last week, PETA released its "Worst-Dressed Celebs of 2009" list. Madonna came out on top, with the Olsens, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Kanye West and Elizabeth Hurley trailing right behind. We've already showed you ways to go faux with fur and avoid PETA's wrath. But you can also make a roaring statement with the following accessories, which the mystyle team found online.

Scarlett Johansson
Style Shout-out

Scarlett Johansson, the face of Dolce & Gabbana's debut cosmetic collection, helped promote the line in Milan this week by flashing her gorgeous smile. But her Dolce & Gabbana coat was the real showstopper. It's not like ScarJo needs any help in the sensuality department, but the cinched stunner really does heighten sex appeal!

Animal prints just have this magical ability to make you look like a goddess, even if your hair is in a bun. Plus, they never go out of style—and neither does a trench coat, which makes the steal and the splurge below sound investments.
