Cindy Whitmarsh has been in the field of fitness and nutrition for more than 14 years. She is a licensed sports nutritionist and owner of Ultrafit Nutrition Systems, Inc., and serves as the fitness expert for KUSI news. She is also a personal trainer and instructor of spinning, muscle and boxing classes while acting as the personal consultant for the San Diego Charger Girls. Cindy currently stars and produces her own exercise videos, including the Ultrafit Fat Burning Video and 10 Minute Solution, Target Toning. She has expanded her nutrition-consulting business to the Frog's Fitness fitness centers in California and represents the Coca-Cola sports drink Enviga.

In 1994, Cindy weighed 40 pounds more than she does today. At the time, she was very active but was also eating too much sugar and processed food. Cindy was proof that one can work out every day, very intensely, but that without proper nutrition the results just aren't there. In fact, she believes nutrition accounts for 70 percent of the way our bodies look and feel.

Years later, Cindy moved to San Diego and decided to practice what she preached. She developed her nutrition plan, lost the 40 pounds and has been able to keep it off for the past six years. Cindy recently had her second baby and feels better now than ever before! Her husband, pro beach volley ball player Mike Whitmarsh, attributes his longevity in his sport to her fitness and nutrition program.

Cindy's passion is helping people succeed in their healthy lifestyle journey. She feels happy to reach people all over with her videos and Ultrafit Nutrition plan. Her philosophy on working out is maximizing time and effort during workouts. As long as people eat a sensible diet, they don't have to exercise for hours on end. Cindy believes in setting goals and cross-training to achieve maximum results.
