Finola Hughes

Emmy® Award-winning actress Finola Hughes is the host of the Style Network's popular makeover series How Do I Look? The hit show recently celebrated the airing of its 100th episode and is coming up on its unprecedented ninth season debut in 2008. How Do I Look? has held its status as one of the highest rated series on the Network. Ms. Hughes first joined the Style Network in Fall 2003 as host of the official coverage of Olympus Fashion Week.

An accomplished and versatile actress, Ms. Hughes is most widely recognized for her portrayal of the mysterious Anna Devane on the ABC daytime drama General Hospital from 1985-92. She returned to daytime in 1999 where she eventually resurrected her role as Anna Devane on ABC's All My Children. Her performance garnered an Emmy® Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in 1991, as well as three additional nominations in the same category. In the summer of 2007, she made a triumphant return to General Hospital appearing on the soap opera to reprise her Anna Devane for a series of episodes.

Born and educated in London, England, Ms. Hughes studied ballet beginning at the age of 10. In 1980, she originated the role of The White Cat, in the premiere company of the Andrew Lloyd Weber musical, Cats. Ms. Hughes made her American film debut when Sylvester Stallone cast her opposite John Travolta in Stayin' Alive. Other film work includes The Nutcracker, Soap Dish, Aspen Extreme, Above Suspicion, and Tycus. Her extensive list of television credits include Jack's Place, Blossom, Pacific Palisades, Charmed, Dream On, and Tracy Takes On.

Ms. Hughes has developed a jewelry line for QVC, and released a book with Ballantine Books titled Soapsuds which was launched in paperback in July 2006.

Ms. Hughes also devotes her time to the Damazo Majak Foundation as spokeswoman to the organization, which helps relief efforts for the refugee's afflicted by the humanitarian crisis in Darfur, Sudan.

Ms. Hughes maintains a home in Santa Barbara with her husband artist Russell Young, and their sons Dylan, Cash and newly-adopted daughter Sadie.
